My opinion,this is one of the best Heavy metal albums ever from start to end,,,I am a die hard Iron Maiden fan and was sad the day Bruce left Maiden but should of known it wouldnt be for good,,,so glad he ventured out on his own and that he teamed up with Adrian and Roy Z to make such awesome music,,,I hope Bruce never leaves leave Maiden again and i hope they tour for many more years to come, and i also hope Bruce will do some more solo stuff because we know what to expect,,,greatness!

This song, and Journeyman...from Death on the Road....lead me to believe that Adrian is also one of the best accoustic guitar players ever as well....he doesn't just play the notes.... it's magical the sound he puts forth
@WrathchildNH This isn't Adrian playing acoustic - it's Roy Z. Adrian barely plays on this album - he only joined at the tail end as this album was being made. Also, Roy wrote 90% of the music, incl. 'Arc of Space', on both AoB and TCW - Adrian only contributed a pair of songs each.
@SabuPtolemy when I saw them live in Providence Rhode Island....Adrian had a great deal of the lead.....and this accoustic sounds like H on Journeyman live...saw that show too..... lot of people can play the notes.......but FEW can put the feeling to the sounds they make...Roy is also one of the greats for sure....tears of the dragon on the execution live DVD proves that

Maiden, priest and sabbath created heavy metal , then the big four of trash (metallica,anthrax,megadeth,slayer) carried on the legacy . then pantera and skid row took over and nowadays Lamb of god , children of bodom and maybe slipknot (-.-) rules the 21 century metal scene

Even if maiden wouldn't exist, there would be a lot more and much better bands to carry on, not metal (you're right), but rock.
And nobody knows, even the wisest, what would have happened if maiden wasn't created. Maybe i could be born a hundred years ago and create my own band. "Masupilami raping Pedobear" or else..
