  • where is the salt?

  • @glazese ital

  • can u use arrow root instead of baking power?

  • @sanddocon Hi, Arrow root is more of a thickening agent similar to corn starch, baking powder would be best to use for this recipe. Although you only need to use baking powder if you are using plain flour, if you’re using self raising flour baking powder is not needed.

  • I've never ever heard of dumplings having sugar in. where are these people from?

  • @kwraikarn you've never heard of fried dumpling with suger in??? where the fuck are YOU from??

  • @tag1989 my dad was from St. Kitts. No need for the profanities darling. Assuming dumplings HAVE to have sugar in is a bit myopic, don't you think?

  • @kwraikarn yea but you can have sweet fried dumplings too.... but your from norway, i would'nt expect you to know any better i guess.

  • @tag1989 Exactly, you can have sweet fried dumplings TOO. As in 'as well as...'. That's what I didn't get, all the 'Where's the sugar!?' 'You forgot the sugar!' 'Aren't these supposed to have sugar in!?!!' comments.

  • you forget to add your main ingredient (salt) .I also noticed you didn't add sugar.

  • Im waiting in part 2...

  • @ bellacinderellakk Thank you for your comments!

Traditionally fried dumplings are prepared as a savory snack (minus the sugar), as they are eaten with fried fish, ackee & saltfish etc

Although to add a twist to the taste of fried dumplings, you are quite right that you can add sugar just before the mixing stage.
