I just got duped too.....But I bought mine from fragrance net dot com. Same size bottle and same kind. Guess I will give it to the kids. I paid 48 dollars for a 3.4oz size. Man I was pissed. I paid using pay pal and I should see if I can get my money back.

@jrwriter my opinion it's fake because my pray nozzle is black. like the top and around the nozzle is silver but the actual tiny little hole that sprays is black. yours is white

Another wAy you can tell is the spray nozzle, the hole is not centered. It look way off, other thAn that it's a damn good fake!

I bought 3 bottles of this from an ebay seller out of jamaica ny and since i have worn this for yrs i was so pissed that it was water and alcohol with a faint smell of the fragrance, i had to go thru paypal & got my money back but i had to pay to ship it back to them, i encourage people to actually take time and read the negative comments and what the people are saying, their response is it could be old or stale cologne and to send it back, if U don't know the scents U can get taken

I've bought 3 colognes from eBay; 212 Sexy Men, D&G Pour Homme, and I am King, all for 25-40$. And all 3 of them are fake. The only real cologne I own and didn't get ripped of is yours truly, Versace's Man Eau Fraiche which I bought in the summer of last year from Amazon for 30$.

The real lesson is never to buy fragrances on eBay and the likes. Too many counterfeits on the net and when you realize it, it might be too late to get a refund.

i dont remember the seller, but, the way they get such positive feedback is because, many of the people that buy from the seller can't tell the diffrence between a real and fake bottle of cologne

yea its a fake. There should be a sticker on the back. also ..1. the colour of the cap is a different colour than the actual bottle and its light in weight compared to the real one. It should be the same colour as the bottle. 2. There should be a black trim around the silver part so the cap can stay on better, 3. The spray hole should be black not silver.

yeah I've checked mine and the bottom of the bottle inside is a bit round, unlike yours the bottom is flat...hmmmm. sticker should be at the back side of the bottle not under the bottle and as well as the serial number should match the box..

I knew something was up the 1st time I sprayed it. I had sampled it before though. I did send it back and they said they'd give me a refund. Thanks for making this vid. Helped me realize it wasn't just spoiled as the company was saying, but rather a fake. I was new too and didn't know they could be faked either

Send it back its fake!!! I rated them positive because i was new to fragrances didnt know they could fabricate and exact replica of a fragrance.

But now i know to always test the scent before i buy from ebay. Also always look for matching serial #'s.

I've started to become a little leary of even buying a lot of my colognes out of certain stores that are not department stores because I get very suspect. I was about to buy the Versace today as a matter of fact. From the follow up vid that Robe did everything looked pretty legit even with the box so I guess I'll go back to get it.

The symbol on the right of the barcode (those two arrows) is german. It shows how to dispose of garbage properly. So this bottle might has been produced for the german market.

My fake bottle smelled too much like alcohol too. It was a close replica of the bottle and box but the scent was way off. The scent of the fake lasts one to two hours but my real bottle gives a scent that is strong for 5 to 7 hours and is noticeable on all day. The sales rep and Versace at South Coast said they have always had matching serial numbers on the bottle and on the box.

I watched both of the vids and besides the stickers that Mark said I noticed that the boxe's stones are different for instace look at your video at :26 and Mark's vid 2:25 and you'll notice the patterns are different..not sure if different years or whatever but under your first E in VERSACE the stones get smaller gradually but idk it's what I noticed

Watched it one last time and paused your video many times to compare to my bottle, and I stick next to what I said. That bottle is legit. What I am wondering is if the juice is different. The only way to find out is by doing a side by side test.

On my skin Eau Fraiche will last anywhere from 3 to 5 hrs depending on how much I wear and how oily my skin is.

I think you're safe bro. I'd keep it if you enjoy the scent.

Just because you bought a bottle half off does NOT mean its to good to be true. Very few of my frags have I payed more than half price on the net. Then again, I don't order from Ebay. I never recommend it either.

Oh, also. The bottle MIGHT be a tester and the seller had an extra box laying around. It happens...

JRWRITER, thought I'd shed some light on this.

1. Your bottle is authentic

2. The sticker which should be on the base of the backside of the bottle has been removed. Looks as though they placed it on the bottom of the bottle.

3. This fragrance only has it's serial number on said sticker.

I would spray your EF on one wrist and one from a store on the other. If they match, you most likely just got a bottle that was tampered with a bit.

Mine has a serial number on the box and bottle. Your bottle and packaging both look authentic though. I guess somebody could have lifted a bunch of bottles from a warehouse or something.

item most definently a fake, we probably purchased from the same seller. The first thing I noticed was that the bottle seemed cheap the glass had some imperfections. The main thing I noticed was that the cologne smelled nothing like the viles I had recieved from Nordstrom. The most confirming evidence is that our serial numbers match on the box while we dont have a number on the bottle itself. My sticker is on the bottom and came with a security tag. Take it back and dont buy again on ebay

Jrwriter I think I solved your dilemma. A quick search on eBay and fragrancenet shows a deodorant spray version of the cologne that comes in a very similar bottle as the EDT spray for @ $30. I recommend you check the eBay listing and see if it says EDT spray or deodorant spray. I would imagine that would explain the longevity issue as well. I hope that helps.

Bro... Go to W/E perfume cologne store thats around you and do a comparison test. tell em to spray your right wrist and spray your other wrist with yours. Then let it mellow out for a while and compare. My friend bought from ebay too that was half the price and his cologne smelled like fucking lemon juice... It was a fake.
