@Ron0968 2012 Ram Heavy Duty models come equipped with our innovative, class-exclusive NOx Absorber Catalyst (NAC) system+, which automatically regulates diesel emissions according to EPA standards. So while other drivers will be required to monitor and maintain their Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) system, you can save your time and money.
@angusandleigh yep! these trucks offer a lot of neat stuff. i loved that hemi when it was just 345hp. now at 390 its putting out close to what the gm and ford 6.2 is and ive pretty much decided what my next truck is going to be. its going to be either a ram 1500 of one of the upgraded trims or a powerwagon.
@garywil77 it will always be known and seen by many as the Dodge Ram as that is what it was born as. Its its own brand in the Chrysler lineup now, yes. But not that big of a deal, still the same truck minus the Dodge emblem.
@garywil77 It's a product of Chrysler, as is Ram. The Dodge name has and will stick for a long time, even if they don't apply it to their line of trucks anymore.
@cadillaccomaro That's how many decades it takes for US auto industry to figure things out.
I hand built all the extra storage and cab amenities into all the trucks i ever owned 'cause it was what I needed but manufacturers could not or would not provide.
Ram Box, available on the Chevy Avalanche since 2002.

How sad for Dodge. Imagery from a time before motor vehicles.
Just like the image that "sheet metal has a soul". Stephen King's "Christine" had a soul and it wasn't good for anyone.
