@DecapitatedDoctor I've seen this episode like 4 times, it was just biased garbage. I'm not extremely anti-smoking and I think people should be allowed to do what they want in that regard, but that's not going to stop me from calling them faggots. There's no reason to smoke other than because you think it makes you look cool but it doesn't, smoking only makes you look like a try hard faggot and in 20 years they'll just be try hard faggots with terminal lung cancer.

@DecapitatedDoctor Lmao the episode was annoyingly one-sided. I cracked up when one of the factory workers said "I like to have a cigarette every now and then" like that's fucking possible. You can't just pick up a cigarette every couple of days, it's highly addicting.
The episode was just glorifying smoking, as you can so plainly see by these retarded 14 year olds commenting here.

@Gregd8888 These 14 year olds don't represent what South Park is about. Most people don't understand the complexity of some of the messages of their episodes. Buy the DVDs and listen to Matt and Treys commentary. Most episodes have underlying themes that a lot of people wont understand. This episode was poking fun at the Hollywood liberals and how they percieve themselves to be above the rest of society in terms of knowing what's good for them. Hell, just look it up on Wikipedia

Usually every episode of SP ends with Kyle or Stan saying "I've learned something today", which are the voices of Matt and Trey commenting on the moral issue. They present the issue in a very silly and ridiculous way in the episode, which they always have. SP usually tries to play devil's advocate or present an opposite opinion to the general public. You have to look deeper than a few certain jokes made

To connect as something as awful as smoking with happy cheerful factory workers. The contrast makes it funny. And if anyone actually thinks this episode glorifys smoking then they aren't mature enough to be watching this show. SP has more moral messages in their episodes than Family Guy or the Simpsons

I also seem to remember hearing in middle school something about marijuana being addictive. And I've come to find out, in the REAL WORLD, it's not. Addiction is bullshit. I just watched the south park episode for the first time, laughed my ass off and smoked a cigarette while i did :-)
But even though it's comedy, I think the message was really good: everyone is free to have french fries and beer for dinner every night if they want to. smoking is bad and everyone knows it and if you do smoke, you have noone else to blame for it but yourself
