When I was a child I had a wonderful choral voice. That was until my voice broke. I used to go out carol singing, and I knew them all. I used to take requests on the doorstep. lol.

I remember my local vicar wanting me for his choir, but I wasn't interested :)

Then I didn't sing for years, until the bug caught up with me again :)
