  • nice this is how its done. im from iowa too and i love hunting

  • wheres the blaze orange boys?

  • miss those deer,... was stomping all-over SE Iowa back in the 70s........ before it was a big deal to hunt deer in Iowa, saw some monsters, back in the day!...thanks for making me home-sick.....bastards! haha

  • haha u cant go deer hunting without saying fuck lol

  • lol, "Fucken Toasted Em" ... I luv how yall say "Fuck" so much in ur huntin vid, i fav'd this shit 4 that. Good fucken buck man! lol

  • Yeah, i got a little carried away with my f-bombs. If i make any videos this year i will make sure to curtail my salty language as to not offend anyone's delicate sensibilities.

  • shit, it didn't bother me none... I thought it was funny as hell.

  • I know. I should not bother any adult but some are a little childish and pretend like they have virgin ears or something. But i did get a little carried away because i was excited. "fucking toasted em" was a pretty good line i still think.

  • i shot at a massive buck bout 80yrds away with my muzzle loader and i tracked blood for about 2 miles finding bones and reall foamy blood never found it

  • That's surprising. Usually when you find that bright red blood with the foam in it it's a lung shot. Strange

  • i didnt get deer yet well ok so it my 2 year but seriously T_T

  • GREAT job, nice buck! Love to see those turkeys out there too.

  • i`m so mad!i called in a bedded down buck with my grunt call but it was on the side of my blind where it is really brushy and it was too thick to shoot...and the deer was probally only 40-50 yards away...i could`ve easily killed it with my 44...maybe tommorrow i`ll get one.

  • What does your friend have in his left hand after he fired? Looksl like some kind of stabilizer??? Im curious.

  • Its an Allen monopod shooting stick. It works pretty good and for only 10 bucks it a pretty good deal at walmart.

  • Nice

  • Thanks. Hopefully I will be able to put up more videos this year. Hunting season is just around the corner. Teal season starts in 2 weeks so I am getting a little antsy.

  • Yes my Friend it is true you can not have one on your own!!the thing that i am saying with my friend is that we have born in the wrong country!!!

  • That sucks that they don't let you own rifles. Well here in the States the gun law are a little more liberal. Just yesterday my little brother, a Marine on leave, bought a Bushmaster AR-15 with 6, 30 rd magazines and 500rds of 5.56mmx45mm military rifle ammo. If you are interested you can search for "Bushmaster Ar-15 A2\A3" to find a similar rifle that he bought.

  • Nice deer hunting!!!Here in Greece you can't shot with rifles cause they are restricted!!!Stupid goverment!!i love this kind of hunt!...so some clever guys have some rifles!!...and i have one!!!Good hunt man nice!!

  • Well the state I live in in America has rifle restrictions for hunting too. The gun my friend was using in the video is actually a Muzzle loading rifle. Like a old fashioned musket, except made to modern specifications. But are you saying that it is Illegal to even own a rifle in Greece? Because if that is true than I feel sorry your government does not trust you with them.

  • that was a nice buck

  • Thanks. My buddy thought so. Considering it was the first night out and it was the first buck he shot with a full rack he was pretty happy to shoot it after being cooped on the U.S.S. Nimitz for a 7 month deployment.

  • damn that was a pretty nice Tom. Cool video. I trade to do a video like this one this deer season, but the 3 times I brought the camera, i saw zilch.

  • It is very hard to do unless you have the proper gear(which i do not). I just did it to see if i could do it and it worked out ok. Since you are bow hunting you have to get one of those screw in camera mounts. So you can be hands free. I also did it during late muzzle here and it was very hard. Plus I was hunting on the ground in a makeshift natural blind. So it was pretty tough.

  • hey is hard hutning witha vidoe and have you ever vidoe yer self git back at me ima trydoin thsi is bow season

  • Another kuel vid...great hunt and with some good fun and a tasty outcome. Good goin! *****

  • Thanks. I am glad you liked it. And he was very tasty. We ate him the very next day. Well his steaks that is. Done perfectly rare. With just little salt and pepper. But now I am flush with meat after the 1st shotgun season in Iowa. Now I am ready to go out for late muzzleloader which has already started and goes to the 10th of Jan.

  • Late muzzleloader eh, sounds like fun! Try and make some vids for us out in Youtube land...I'll be watchin and waitin. Keep it up, you Iowaboyz are great.

  • Yeah I will try and get up some more videos, but it depends on the weather. If its snowing or raining I cannot video because I don't want to ruin my camera. Hopefully I can get up a few more hunts because my one friend is muzzleloading for the first year and my other friend is coming home for Christmas from the left coast so I should be able to get up some good videos.

  • Thats kuwl, I bring my cameras all weather. If it is snowing, I put my fleecy camo hoody over it like you would wear it. If it is raining i put my baseball huntin cap on top of the camera like a head and my fleecy over that...its like a quiet camo umbrella. Not tryin to talk you into it...just show us what you can, Thanks again.

  • haha you guys rock. Instead of a ground blind you should be usin a 4x4

  • What exactly do you mean?

  • it'd make it more entertaining if you were runnin it down with a 4x4 lol. i could only imagine the words comin outta your guys's mouth then.

  • I personally would not do that, but I have seen people do it. I saw a guy once tear ass across a bean field in what looked like a K-5 Blazer chasing a herd of deer while a guy was shooting a semi-auto rifle out the top. He was cranking off the shots pretty quick. All I can say about that is the farmers hate the deer. So some of them get after the deer pretty hard if you know what I mean.

  • Yep i know exactly what you mean, im from small town northeast iowa.. i see it all day every day during shotgun season

  • i'm from iowa to in Monroe county

  • Nice Video Guys,Liked watching it!

    Good job!

  • Yeah it was fun making it, but I learned a lesson. Use a tripod. Oh and not to throw around f-bombs like its going out of style. Hopefully next week I will have a new video up of the shotgun season that starts this weekend. Now its my turn to shoot something big with delicious steaks. lol

  • 1 weekend a year to hunt in Iowa. I would take the buck too. Good shooting guys.

  • It was pretty cool. But what was cooler was right be fore he left last week he shot his first buck with an bow. I had just dropped him off a little after first light and I went back to the cabin and made some coffee. By the time I was drinking a cup he was calling me on the phone telling me he had shot a buck. He was in the tree stand no more than 10 min and rattled and grunted a buck into 12 yards.

  • I hunt middle Iowa in December. Last year my son took a big 10 point. Iowa has the best deer I have hunted.

What was the score on your friends buck he just got?

    God bless

  • It would not score very high because the one side is a nice heavy 5 point but the left side is an 9 inch palmated fork. Its pretty strange. but its dressed weight at 190lbs so it was a big deer. He said he did not realize it was messed up until he saw it fall 15 yards from where he shot it. But it was a good deer to get out the deer herd down where we hunt.

  • Sweet. Good shooting. Vid & Muzzle loader Shot my 1st IA buck on 9-15-07 and it was tasty.

  • Damn! Ya shot Bambi!

I believe I'd have let that one walk.

  • Well my Friend who shot the deer only gets about 5-10 days tops to hunt every year. Because he is in the military so he takes the shots when he gets them. The deer was not very tall but it was still 17 1\2 inches wide. It also still tasted good.
