I agree that vacuum brewing is the best way to brew a cup of traditional coffee. I don't have a cona, just a yama at this point, but I am absolutely pleased with the quality of the extraction. Wonderful. I am still an espresso lover at heart, but this brew method has me craving a cup a of coffee more and more. I have a hario v60, bonmac and a clever for pour overs and definitely think vacuum produces a better cup, to each is his own. Thanks for the post and letting me watch the cona in action.

I have one. Truly the best way to brew coffee. Where did you buy yours? I broke the lip of the bottom part. It still brews fine but it's dangerous.
