  • what's the price of a 5th avenue kingpin more or less?

  • SHit

  • Ce mec sais jouer de la guitare et il ferait sonner n'importe quelle gratte ..., je ne le connais pas mais après 3 notes je sais que c'est du tout BON!!!*****

  • It sure sounds like the Kingpin's I've played. And they all play great. Absolutely a wonderful guitar.

La chanson la? C'est vraiment belle!

  • The shape of the neck is quite round, and feels quite similiar to a strat neck. There's a 16' radius, and plays beautifully

  • whats the neck like?

how would you describe the shape?

    thanx.

  • I love the song even though I don't understand a word of French. Where can I buy the CD?

  • @jwebsmall

You can buy the CD on Itunes (Bruno Labrie), or buy it anywere in Quebec music store.

  • Not to judge your company's integrity, but lots of guitar manufacturers use pop stars to sell there guitars (even though this is not a 'corporate' video) . The pop stars would be playing the guitar you want marketed but the audience would be hearing some studio score with AAA+ high end guitar. Misleading them into buying there product.

I hope i have not offended you in any manor. I really like your 5th Avenue model in my eyes it is the best looking guitar Godin has made.

  • @SolidCake this is the actual sound of a godin kingpin just he prerecorded it

  • The Guitar you hear is not the guitar he supposedly is playing. All the audio is recorded in a Studio. And come on, the guitar is not even plugged in...

  • Thanks for the comments - Just so it's clear - this is a 'music video', not a corporate one.... Like all 'music videos' it was recorded in-studio for the CD - the video was shot later - for TV. The 5th Avenue Kingpin is based on our regular 5th Avenue model - which is an acoustic instrument - It doesn't need to be plugged in.

  • Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to answer my comment.

I now that the Kingpin can be used acoustically. My problem with this video is that as you said, the audio is recorded in the studio. And in the studio anything is possible. He might as well be playing a high-end guitar threw all sorts of pre-amps.

I will continue in my next post.

  • the guitar sounds more like a dreadnought with some piezo (not even a really good one , hat those brittle highs) than an archtop lol

  • @SolidCake

yeah it's true, but I think Bruno recorded this song at home...

  • I've played it. It plays loud acoustic. Hints the f holes

  • @SolidCake

I own one it is an acoustic / electric.

  • Bruno is a french Canadian singer, thats his first album.

J'adore toute ses chansons il est super bon chanteur!

  • Wonderful tone!

    Great singer too!

I think I just found a new favorite french artist.

  • Very beautiful guitar ! Who is Bruno Labrie ! He's so cool !!!
