The Uss Defiant is definetly one tough little ship. It smoked a Dominon battle cruiser and a Breen battle cruiser. Quantium torpedos and pulse phaser canons and extra shields make one nasty ship. Great video. Just why the Miranda class , its from 2243 - 2269 , Refit in 2270 to 2285 still in service but no match to anything the Dominion, Breen or Cardassion have.More Akira's and Defiants would have helped.
The few Miranda class starships were actually spread out to 5 different Federation sector fleets. What you've just viewed and witnessed are the last of those ships. After the Dominion war, the Federation began and tremendous rebuilding and refitting of all of their starships. Both the Klingon and Romulan star forces were unfortunately reduced considerably.

Yup. The Miranda were refited with more phaser
awrays. The wanted more defiant , akira and steam-
runner class. Small well equipped for battle.
