The only disappointing thing about JR Church is he refers you to books and mags. So if you want to know what the Bible has to say about certain issues, you need to get a hold of the book or mag he's plugging.

He's not selling you the books or magazines for you to know the Bible more, he's selling the magazine that keeps up on news and prophecy to keep the ministry going. If he said you need these magazines for spiritual growth then your concern would be legitimate. All ministries have to sell books or DVD's to keep their ministry going.

Yes I know, of course they need money. It would still have been nice to hear a snippet of what the mag had to say that the Bible says. I live in Australia so it's not always easy to grab a copy of these American publications without considerable expense.
