Why are people comparing Roisin Murphy to Lady Gaga? They are both creative and talented musicians in their own right. Can we all just enjoy this song and this video?

This video and track is STUNNING just like most of what Roisin does. I saw her live in 2008 on the "Overpowered" tour and she was extraordinary.

why in every good music video i saw comments about lady gaga? She's f*cking famous, everbody knows her, she is weird and blahblahblah but that doesn't make her better or worse than other artists, its just her style, this is Roisin style, and every artist has his/her style and inspiration and everything.

I'm getting tired of humans in general, I honestly hate humans, but too bad I have to be one. How is it fricken possible to compare gaga to roisin? They are so different its impossible to explain.They don't have the same kind of music, dancing, hair, or even fashion! It's both wierd fashion, but roisin's is more browns and confusing things and gaga's is just random things.They're both wierd but SOOOO different.

@fashionbug9880 actually, no, umm...roisin music is electro pop, like gaga, some of roisin moves, gaga uses them a lot (i.e Let me know) A LOT of things from her (circle little porcelain hats, feather crowns, big bows etc) , gaga uses them, and LOL, hair? look at you know me better, and then eh eh i got nothing to say, it's like, she completly stole roisin's persona.

@fashionbug9880 They have similarities in Fashion. lady gaga is really inspired by many of the videos and photoshoots that Roisin made with Moloko and in her solo career. Specially Let me Know, The flipside, Overpowered, and you know me better. The big Bows,the long skirts,the diamond glasses, the Black diamond thingy (Pokerface = Overpowered),Some haircuts, some type of hats, the Colours. and the Facial expressions and the hand movements in Forever more and Sow into you are a few examples.

You can't educate some of these lady gaga fans, arguing with them is pointless. I understand if you are a fan of hers, I just dont understand the ones who are completely disillusioned and think she's started something new. 95% of "her style" has been stolen from artists such as Roison, Grace Jones etc. and from HC runway shows. @gacktlova In my opinion i still think there's an element of performance art in Roisin's videos and yes fashion has inspired but a lot of ideas of fashion as all people know isn't just how 'pretty' clothes are there is a lot of meaning behind the clothes we wear!!! p.s I meant a lot of pop stars these days are ok not 'copying' but certainly imitating Gaga's sound and look etc I do actually like Lady Gaga as she is a pop product these days!! and that aint a bad thing really is it lol!!
