@bnsf2027 also, the guadalupe local switches cars in the yard monday, wednesday and friday.

and on tuesday and thursday the guadalupe local runs down to Lompoc to serve the area down there.

these jobs can be anytime in the morning and afternoon so theres no real set time but certainly not at night.

@bnsf2027 hey josh! on tuesdays and fridays they probably start assembling their train around 1:00. theyre almost always ready to depart at 2:30. if surfliner 798 and coast starlight 14 are on time, as soon as 14 passes guadalupe (usually about 3:00), theyll line the switch and get going south with clear sailing to santa barbara. the northbound version gets in every monday and thursday night usually after 9pm.
