This probably my favorite Cagney movie alongside Yankee Doodle. I have been trying to get a DVD , of it. I've seen VHS(whats that-LOL) on Amazon for 79.95-new-screw that. I used to hang in a bar outside themain gate at West Point and the owner had a framed letter from Cagney's DonnyBrook Farms. his Dutchess County home. The letter was a follow up to a donation he made to the cause around 1963. There is a virtually unknown Richard Harris who gets sean arrested in the Pub. Good movie-thanks!
I remember going down to see them shooting a night scene for this Film.
Didnt see Jimmy Cagney though.
It was a great film only problem was they had English Actors playing Irishmen and Women. But that was very common in Films but the Abbey Theatre Actors got well represented.
