125 2 smokes suck. over rated 85s, thats all. my 250f would walk all over that bike, so don't even try to compare 2's to 4's. you'll probably say something about a 500. don't. they are cool, but theres a reason they quit making them. they were impractical. in a straight away, yeah, 500 beats 450, but in tight sections, or even just corners or tight steep hills, 4 strokes trump all. long live the 4 stroke.

2's r just more fun cuz u gotta shift way more, and they require more skill by far so all the haters on 2 strokes can eat smoke. the reason 4's are used for racing is cuz the power band is, well most of the rpm range but a good rider can be fast with a 2 stroke. much simpler to work on u cant argue. 4's are better in sand and low traction conditions cuz they dont break loose as fast, where a 2 hits the power and spins out. if u know how to feather the clutch u can have great bottom end power btw

so i have a 2005 yz250 2 stroke im 16 right now the mods me and my dad have done are, fmf fatty and shortty, weisco piston and rings and my dad sent the head away to get machined for the proper squish and rethal sprokets and new chain and v force reeds. i still dont think it goes over 90. pluse there is no way in hell any 4 stroke could ever go over that well at least in my eyes 2 strokes for life been ridden 2 smokes since i was 5

Keep riding. Alot of people who posted remarks are all full of shit. MY cr 250 with tag sprockets, gold series fatt, o ring chain. v force reeds, new top end. fmf power core silencer, and it tops out around 82mph. No way an 85 or 125 can get close to that. I have been riding since i was 6. Im now 37.

@exikuter1 I still have to strongly disagree with you and first of all a 2006 Yz250f roughly weighs about 205 pounds and a 200 Yz125 weighs roughly 195 and i have a full aftermarket exhaust, aftermarket sprockets and handlebars which i can promise you is atleast 8 pounds lighter. leaves me at 187. And that Brings me to the point that i have been on a dirtbike since i was 5 years old and am now 17 and i am on a dirtbike all summer, spring and fall long. I've been riding for 13 years.
