  • Omg it acully works

  • Can I ask what breed she is? She looks little bit like a staffy, but am not sure....she's a beautiful dog

  • @mundyboi Sure, she's a g.s.pointer/pit mix as best I can tell. I haven't done any genetic testing so its based on my own take. Thanks for recognizing her beauty. I'll let her know. ; )

  • ok that helps

  • @mummypig2782 Glad it's working for you and your dog! : )

  • I was struggling to teach my 3 month old puppy to lay down. I found this video and in about 10 mins he was lying down! Such an easy, simple method for a dog and owner to understand. Thank you so much!

  • @raquelxmaria My pleasure, so glad you and your pup are having success! -David

  • Thanks for this video - I found it quite helpful. Look forward to trying this learning method out on my ten week old Rottweiler, Kaiser.

  • @hollylanagan I appreciate your feedback and am so glad I could help you and your Rottie puppy get started with obedience. All the best to you guys, let me know if I can help in any other way! -David

  • Yay Bowie learned how to lie down! Wahoo! What should he learn next?!

  • when i did this my dog would stand up as soon as i put the treat to her toes so what i did was i had her get on the couch which is where she normally lays and as she laid down on her own i said lie down and gave her a treat, now she gets what i meant. she does it just fine now :)

  • I reckon it's really clever how you put down on the fridge:)

  • thanks worked for me

  • Nice! I'm raising a guide dog puppy ofr Freedom Guide Dogs, and this is like, the only thing I don't know how ot teach her. As soon as I heard your dog had never learned I knew it would be a good video, I hate it when people do all these videos and their dogs are all well trained superdogs. Thanks for making the video.

  • I've been having trouble trying to teach my aussie to down. I can't wait to get home this afternoon and try this! That makes so much better sense to reward for small steps. My jack russell learned down so quickly that I couldn't figure out why I was having trouble with her. She needs this method. Can't wait to watch more of your videos!

  • I've had 16years of dogs...my girl (red tick coonhound) is now 11 going on 12..should I take a break afterwards..your vids are excellent very professional....

    peace

  • @bumphelps It's always good to take breaks in training, letting the dog relax and process a bit. but how often you need to break depends on the motivation level of your dog. If your dog is REALLY into it, you can keep going. IT's usually a great idea, though, to end on a high note and leave them wanting more for next time. Thanks for watching! -DAvid

  • lovely to see dogs thinking:)

  • @MultiAnimalcrackers Agreed MAC, Thanks for watching! -David
