@uspatriot2030 Unfortunately his tail was bitten off my dog Molly. I never left them alone together esp after Farken became aggressive because Molly could go from playing to attacking if she copped a bite, but this day I was on the phone and they were being very noisy so I left the room for a few minutes and came back to find Farken with half his tail gone. I learned my lesson. Farken went missing in April 08 sadly, we never found him. I have four ferrets now and they have their own room.
What Imvdragon said. When he was 'attacking' your slippers, he was trying to hold them down to have sex with them. I know it sounds nuts, but that's what he was doing.
I KNOW WHY UR FERRET IS AGGRESSIVE!!! you got to neuter him! the poor thing has his hormones a raging and doesn't have any thing to release them one. if you don't neuter male ferrets they get very stinky and quite angry... for females if you don't spay them, well they die.
Thank you so much for your comment, I have since found all this out. The males get so aggressive they can kill the females. He's been done and is now back to his lovely tender self.
Well the first photo she took had him biting my gloved hand and I said, that makes him look mean, so she took another of him curled up in Michaels arms like a little fluffy baby, so cute.
Glad he made it through the surgery. Maybe the aggression is just playfulness out of hand, get him done-and try some stern discipline.
It's not so daft to spend that money when you care for them and you feel responsible-and an injury really is different from a long term illness or disease-he's still so young and otherwise healthy!
Oy...hes pretty relentless isnt he?lol...glad to know hes alright though, aaaw please dont give him away, maybe if you apply some balm on ur legs, like VICKS hell leavem alone. Or maybe you could try buying him a lil furry toy buddy or another trainspotting trip, something,i dont know lol.
Yeh I will be walking him more often for sure and that is the only time he will be associating with Molly from now on. The Vicks on the legs actually sounds like a great idea, I will definitely try that, if the smell doesn't do anything, he may find it harder to grab onto me, Thanks so Much Joe.
Maybe he was trying to give you a kiss...dont test it though lol. My cat when she was really small would bite me so hard so tried it aaaand thats when i found out that SHE ACTUALLY LIKES IT...YA!!! ever met a cat who likes strawberry yogurt? and has two diff coloured eyes?
Thanks Mum, still got to work on the agression thing. I swear if we hadn't just spent all this money on him I would be looking for another home for him right now. It's really quite depressing, I've lost me best little mate, I hope I can sort out his problem.
This had gotten really freaky. Michael can hold him and he as calm as can be but if he gives him to me he goes nutso. And if he puts him on the floor he runs straight to me and attacks. He even jumped at my face twice tonight. Even after I feed him he attacks me.
It's normal for ferrets to bite when they are playing. Ferrets have very sharp teeth even when young, but they also have thick skin and they play very rough with one another without getting hurt in the least, so it's hard for them to understand why they can't play in the same rough manner with you. You have to convince them that their biting you this way hurts you and that you don't like it.
When I got my first ferret I had a book that said to flick it fairly hard on the underside of the nose when it bit too hard. I did that and it cured her of biting completely! I had to do it a few times, but she eventually got the hint. The underside of a ferret's nose is sensitive, so this gets the message through that "Hey, it hurts!"
Some people have said that this is mean, to hurt the ferret, but a ferret that bites is mean for the people around it. You have to stop that behavior while it is young
.......another site I found said when they bite to say NO! in a stern voice and to put them back in there cage for awhile. never had a ferret here... so im not sure what to do! but I do not mind helpin you figure out a solution! Your friend ~HiGH HeaD JeSTeR~
Thank You, I've been told not to flick the nose but to grab the scruff of the neck and firmly say No. he has been play fighting for 8 months though, this is much more serious and focused. I'm buying gloves today so I can handle him again and try to train him.
What happened to his tail?

Relentless, yeh, and that was nothing. Last night he ran up my leg and jumped from my lap to bite me in the face before I could even grab him.

It was so cute how he got along with the dog... I have no idea about ferrets. It's almost like he needs a chew toy..

He has a little stuffed toy dog that he gets very intimate with, he he. It barks if you squeeze it so he thinks it is real.
