I guess technically you're right. The FXX is essentially a Ferrari Enzo built for track use, so it wouldn't be allowed on the road to beat the F430. On a track, though, it probably has very few rivals. The Schu pretty much put his foot down on this one :)

No, I meant to distinguish between a "supercar" and a "hypercar" the way Jeremy Clarkson does - Enzo, FXX, MC12, Carrera GT, Noble M15, and the likes prioritize being as fast as possible. However, a "hypercar" - Miura, maybe even a McLaren F1, and especially the Diablo - goes really fast and is really exclusive and flashy and is more like a "lifestyle" choice.

It was Jeremy Clarkson's idea... and it seems to hold true
