just bought it and played some levels and i loved the game but it would nice with som uniqe weapons for the char´s and push the price on the and make them permanent and it would be the best game on indie marketplace for sure. Take care and i hope you make a second game with the wishes i request and i would definitly buy it!!!
I was going to say this game looks sexist, but then I remembered one of the ladies had red framed glasses. That totally makes it different. I mean, think about it. It totally does, and you know it.
Is that one guy a robot, or just a dude in robot clothes? This could be a dealbreaker for me.
I'm really impressed with the engine. The file size restriction is a legitimate problem but that can be solved in a variety of ways. Keep in mind the most you can sell the game on Live for is 5$ so dont go overboard trying to compete with XBLA titles. You could easily charge 240 with just a handful of levels 'if' there is good replay value. I'd love to ramble on but I'll just wish you luck and keep an eye out for updates.
hey DragonDivide, how are you dealing with the memory limits that the creators club gives you? And what i mean by that is the 150mb limit depending on pricing which i assume this game is going to be at least 400MP.
@XxArkhamxAsylumxX The 150mb limit is the size of the .cc game file. You can do different compression techniques on your assets before publishing the cc game file which also compresses the project further.
@DragonDivide ...And sure enough just a few days after saying that we're reaching the physical limit on the .cc game size even after all of our compression. Hopefully we won't need to remove any content.
I want to give you all major MAJOR props. Even if the game turns out to be crap (which I'm sure it won't), it's obvious that a LOT of effort went into making this. Music's great, graphics are great, art is great and the gameplay looks pretty damn solid (like Legend of Zelda meets Smash TV). I just hope it's a decent length (maybe 4+ hours or so, I can't expect too much from an Indie Game). I hate great games that are too short.
I am looking forward to this! Day 1 purchase for me!
@marscaleb yerp. it looks amazing and quite good because of the time and effort they put into it but yes this is probably made with XNA since that is what you have to use to make indie games
Looks to have unusually high production values for an indie game but I'm not entirely sure I like the way this video looks. Enemies soak up way too much damage for what's being billed as "Smash TV meets Zelda". Too much time is spent dodging incoming enemies. You think of Smash TV and Zelda, and those first few enemies went down in two hits max. Not, you know, 3-4 seconds of constant fire.
Nice tataas
