I think that's more like what the big over fishing companies are saying. And they are also putting lots of people out of work, and disturbing the ecosystem.

Honestly, I believe that the fish belong to the ocean, and you really shouldn't have destroyed that tree.. I do love your work, but I found that quite inappropriate.

Arthur, the movie's title doesn't refer to whether fish should be eaten or not, it's about family fishermen who want to maintain a sustainable fishery vs. big dirty factory boats and difficult regulations.

And as far as the tree goes, it was dead and I was clearing it away for a driveway

I live in a province in canada called Newfoundland. It's a province based off the fishery due in large to the fact that we are an island and there are very large stocks of cod here.

Due to commercial fisheries happening here there was a moritorium called in the 1990s which called off all inshore fisheries. If this is the kind of thing that your filming about you should prob read into our provinces story. Might add another side to things :)

its not about the fish belong to the people its about how maine was once a fishing town for local people to earn money but now has turned into the big companies coming in and taking over and those local people with families who have been fishing their whole lives are now jobless. And you are being quite ignorant by not watching just because of a title.

I live in Maine, and one of the big talk is def about the fisherman, there are even a few "fishermen wars" As if that job wasn't hard enough, it is getting a lot tougher. Great job on the film too! Although fishermen aren't usualy my interest I just might have to check it out :)
