That's what the real ones do - they're not the Indy 500 you know. Real passenger trains run faster, but I don't model a prototype that runs passenger trains regularly.
Great operating scenes, outstanding equipment, and beautiful scenery. However, like all operating secessions I see a lot of old guys like me (60 years old). I hope more young people get interested in the hobby before it dies out.
I'm twelve and LOVE the hobby. Im in a club too, the youngest guys there are me and caleb, who's 16. I spend at least 60 hours in my basement each week, Or im at base ball or basket ball. Any how, the hobby should most definetly be promoted.
I'm a Supt. on a joint BNSF / UP property. Not sure 'how' I clicked on this video, but I was amazed. I had no idea model railroading had 'operating' sessions. I'm not even sure what one is, but apparantly there's more to HO trains than the ones I remembered from my youth.
Not sure what all was going on here (I watched it w/o sound), but one thing for sure. When something 'goes on the ground' the issue is resolved a bit easier than it is in my world. LOL
Certified Geeks with no life and I am sure most of them do not have a damn girl. LOL This video was certainly a waste of time. Excuse me, this preview. Tell all the geeks to work on their own personal appearence better
MonsterRailroad, I don't know what it is that makes you so bitter and nasty. I saw you refer to Christ one time on a forum, yet you enjoy spitting hate other modelers instead of being helpful. That is truly evil and disheartening, especially coming from a firefighter. Ask God to help you get rid of your bitterness because even when you're having fun, you'll always have that streak of misery. Race is an issue with you, but in the end it won't mean squat after we're all gone.
Uh, I don't know these geeks. And I didn't take much note of their appearance. And while model railroading is not my hobby, I can appreciate the effort of their work.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, I would rather hang out with these guys than a bitter asshole such as yourself
Your trains are moving slow always. It is boring.

Just grab a throttle and run your train. Tell everybody to stay out of your way if they don't want a cornfield meet. ;-)

You just have no talent, that's all. Model building takes patience & talent, which I'm sure you fail 100%

Hey, it's just a preview ... it's not the real video.

Oh, so you have to buy the real video?
marshmallower 4 years ago
You can if you want, but you don't *have* to do anything. With a preview, you get a bit of the video and if you think it's worth it, you buy it.
