No, noobummer, a woman in the White House would be ok. Just not Palin. I mean, did you see her scripted, roundabout answers during her interview last Friday? Go watch the interview and then tell me that women is fit to be V.P..
yes you are right, it would be a profoundly bad idea for John McCain and Sara Palin to be in the white house. I'm glad you are using your noodle there noobummer!
In 2000, Bush told people in South Carolina that McCain's doctor had said that he was mentally unstable from his time spent as a POW. I mean, even Bush knows it's dangerous to put him in power!!! He's dangerous. He is going to hurt us because he can't control his emotions. I don't blame him... the poor guy was locked up in a cell for years but he is mentally unstable and unfit. Sorry.
Wake up America ! Vote 3rd party. The 2 party system is killing this country. They are in bed together and spreading disease. Clean house. Research the 3rd party candidates. 2 party system brainwashing! Find out who owns the media and do your homework on the economy foreign policy and other real issues that Mcboma have no answers to. Oh really mannettino? This ad is from a 527, not from the Obama campaign. Some of you need to learn how to do research. It's kind of like that Ayers commercial that American Issues Project released against Obama. You republicans are such hypocrites. Republicans whining about swift-boating...Oh the irony. Between Karl Rove calling McCain out on his lies in his ads (another super-dose of irony) and Palin's roundabout answers in her interview Friday, I think the McCain boat is sinking fast.
you're damn right it is. I know full on red-neck republicans down here in the south that are gettin sick of his inconsistent campaign. theres a lot of talk about voting for a 3rd party lol
Finally! Dems fighting fire with fire . . . fighting lying smears with truthful smears . . . all this guy says is what McCain has openly and publicly admitted, that McCain has a very bad temper, then he offers his opinion that someone with a bad temper should not be president . . . you cannot call this a false ad, unlike the RNC lies about Obama.
Weakest ad ever. The difference between Kerry and McCain is Kerry went over to Vietnam to burnish his political credentials and came back to stab his fellow veterans in the back, while McCain spent 5 years as a POW and refused early release because other POWs had been there longer than him.
Im a life long Democrat. I support higher taxes, confiscation of wealth, banning all guns(except for criminals), killing babies and living on welfare. I am a communist but I can't vote for Barack 0bama. I am supporting John McCain because 0bama is just too extreme for me.
I was trying. There are comments all over the internet about Republicans who will be voting for 0bama for the first time. Most are as believable as my post, some less.
Hey, I'm a Republican voting for Obama because McCain (well, really Palin to be honest) is too extreme for me. So our votes will cancel each other out.
(okay i'm not really a republican, i just say that on youtube)
I believe you are a real Democrat. I used to be a real Democrat, too, but after I learned that about 50% of the people in the country pay no income tax, and that 5% of the people in the country pay 95% of the taxes, I decided that was too many, so now I'm just a commie. If you're going to steal from people and claim moral superiority, you might as well go all the way.
I support reeducation camps and gas chambers for "repukes," too. 'Cause I'm compassionate.
What a pathetic ad. McCain told the world in his speech he was a wild one in his youth. If you are going to hold that against him now, you should have no quabbles about holding Obama to his coke snorting pot head college communist days.
Well since you think the SBVT were lying, go make yourself rich. There's a $1,000,000 prize offered for anyone--including John Kerry--who can disprove any of their claims. Unfortunately you can't and neither can he.
Kerry admitted a number of SBVT claims were true. He even lied to his own diary about being in Cambodia on Christmas eve of 1968, a fact he now admits.
Kerry could've disproved these "lies" long ago, simply by releasing his own military history.
You don't want to debate it cause you've got no ammo.
What's been said about the SBVT is nothing more than a bunch of clueless sheep such as yourself, sticking your fingers in your ears saying LIAR! LIAR! LIAR!
What are you, five years old?
Read the addendum to the 2nd Edition of *Unfit for Command*, and weep. Because in that addendum you'll find all the things Kerry admitted he lied about. Or better yet, actually put your money where your huge empty mouth is, and earn $1,000,000.
All Kerry -- or "reputable" (read: wholly owned subsidiary employees of the Democrat Party) journalists ever had to do to refute SBVT claims was release Kerry's whole military history. How come he NEVER HAS?
In the current election your "reputable" journalists have finally gone off the deep end, reveleaing themselves for what they've always been: Democrats.
He did release his military history. He even signed documents about his mental condition upon completing his military service (unlike McCain who has always refused to release that information). Republicans can't have their cake and eat it too. And they can't simply tell us, "Let them eat cake." They are the elitists. They're world is only for rich, white people. I'm white, I'm middle class and I abhor the Republican party. Take that!
No, he did not. He released specific parts of his records to several liberal journalists, and according to the PowerLine blog, the discharge documents were not part of what was released. Sorry. Fail.
As for you self-hating white-guilt trip, sell it to some other racist. You can't con an honest man.
You aren't entitled to other people's money just because you want it. It's stealing and you aren't absolved from the moral reponsibility of it just because you send government thugs with guns to do the stealing -- probably because you don't have the guts to do it yourself.
200 honorable men versus one slimey egotistical, liar named John Kerry. ha! Thank you Swift Vets for keeping the doofus Kerry out of the White House. You saved our country twice.
nodem2, yes republicans "saved" us from a booming economy and a robust housing market, they even managed to save us from that huge budget surplus Clinton left behind. Awesome job guys! 4 more years, 4 more years, 4 more years! More budget decefits, more wars, more faltering economy - VOTE REPUBLICAN!
Ha! A stupid attempt at "swiftboating". This is a great response to the McCain ads questioning Obama's relationship with Ayers and Rev. Wright. It serves only to give more votes to McCain! The Obamaniacs are becoming increasingly more desperate as McCain's lead grows. This election is going to be a landslide. HAHAHAHAHAHA... I can't wait for the DimwitocRATs to resurrect the old 1960's ads showing an A-bomb going off and claiming that Goldwatter (McCain) will bring to a nuclear holocost.
Thank god for that ad and the fact that Kennedy and Johnson and every president after them used restraint, containment and education (of dissidents inside the Soviet Union underground) to bring about change. If not for this covert and mostly non-violent work, we would have had another holocaust.
Kenedy and Johnson used restraint? BWhahahahahaha!!! Kennedy increased advisors into Viet Nam. the Bay of Pigs happened on Kennedy's watch ! Then there was Johnson's escalation of the Viet Nam war. There were a HALF MILLION fighting men in Nam under JOHNSON, not counting the support personnel. HOLOCOST?!! It was ROOSEVELT who refused to bomb the tracks to Auschvitz! Russian refuseniks liked REAGAN because he had the balls to stare down the USSR. You're nuts.
Reagan was an extreemly bad president. He is not responsible for winning the cold war, most of the credit goes to the Catholic Church. Reagan is the one that allowed 3 guys to own all of the mainstream media. Regan and Nixon's political adviser (when Nixon started to win) are why O'Rielly and other FOX, MSNBC, CNN propagandists are able to pour their agitprop down the throats of the American public.
McCain is not fit for this office and that is a statement you can rely on. If you've voted for Bush, then you should take some responsibility for being a part of breaking this country. Change your mind and listen to those who are wiser than you have demonstrated your self to be.
I cannot believe that the simple thirst for power would drive someone to denigrate the service of a POW. McCain may have been volatile under those circumstances, who wouldn't be? He got beaten for that volatility, he got thrown in solitary confinement - for YEARS. This ad is despicable...
No, John McCain did NOT blow up at his North Vietnamese captors. He blew up at his fellow POWs. He collaborated with his captors and was treated very well. John McCain is a bully, not a brave man. Google McCain + Songbird and learn the truth. Dr. Butler was a POW longer than John McCain and is 70 years old. Would he speak out against a fellow POW without a very good reason, well beyond partisan politics? Tell me Obama is worse but don't tell me McCain is good.
This is a horrible ad. How does passion or being a POW disqualify John McCain from the Presidency? If this is all you have to throw at John McCain then I'm afraid come election day you are going to reap a sad result. John McCain is going to a coronation not an election if this is the way you expect to win this race.
What's horrible is that McCain's only claim to leadership is surviving the horrors of the POW torture. He voted against repealing parts of the Patriot Act that would end torture of POWS in American captivity. He voted against ending extraordinary rendition. How is that honor? This ad exposes his violent temperament and questions his stability. This is essential for leadership of our country. I applaud holding his feet to the fire with these questions.
Guided by the principles of Edmund Burke? Ha! You take your marching orders from any one of a number of opportunistic radio demagogues and from a propaganda TV outlet. You don't know, I'm sure, what I refer to when I speak of a "true believer", though if by some chance you're that superficially literate, then your marching orders come from a German Jew who wanted a universal nonracial fascism. You're not loyal Americans, and you don't even know it.
Why do you think the Eisenhowers have left the party? Why do you think the Reagans have come as close as they dare to endorsing Obama? I know your answer, of course: you will spew some bile, deny some facts, and cling to your insistance that up is down and east is west.
But you are not Republicans. You are fascists and you are theocrats and you are fanatics. Your only claim to the GOP is that you and your ilk infiltrated it in the 1970s and 1980s (more)
The GOP doesn't care if it runs the economy into the ground, so long as it is ideologically pure. The GOP does not care if it destroys our military, as long as it conducts war according to the Official Ideology. The GOP doesn't care if it nominates a patently unfit individual to be our nation's leader, as long as it finds a way to win.
Don't tell me you're loyal Republicans. The loyal Republicans who care about party and our country have left or have been driven out by the likes of you. (more)
I am not a Democrat, and never will be. I am a former Republican who left the party because it has abandoned not only its own principles, but American principles.
If you who are true believers take your blinders off, and take a cold hard look at the GOP agenda today, you will see that it is nearly indistinguishable from the Taliban. It has enemies to hate, and ideologies (including a narrow religious theology) to impose, and its practitioners prefer intimidation to dialogue. (more to come)
We are showing respect for a war hero; didn't you see Mr. Butler in the ad? I hope you realize that McCain wasn't the only POW from the Vietnam War. I love seeing Conservatives fly off the handle and call others 'morons' just because they don't like hearing the truth. McCain has a horrible temper; he has attacked several of his Congressional GOP colleagues and refuses to take advice or hear criticism from other viewpoints. Just another trait he shares with Bush.
If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.
John McCain fell for Bush's big lie about WMDs in Iraq. Obama didn't. Obama knew more about the consequences of war in Iraq in 2002, than most Americans know now!
Vote for Barack Obama and Joe Biden tomorrow and get the country back on track.

We believe you. We do. you're a lifelong Republican.
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.
You can fool idiot Democrats with these preposterous "testimonials," but you won't fool anybody with any brains.

What the swiftboat republican ads do is tell lie after lie and after lie.
What the truthtellers do is tell truth after truth after truth.
Since John S. Mccain insists on running a dishonorable campaign, just how honorable can anything about John S. Mccain be?
Dishonorable campaign = dishonorable man not worthy of holding the office he seeks.

Do John McCain or Sarah Palin have the temperament to lead? No.
Do John McCain or Sarah Palin have the insight into the Islamic world the next President will obviously need? No.
Are they honest? No.
Have they shown the kind of lifelong commitment to ordinary Americans that Barack Obama and Joe Biden have shown? No.
Why would ANYBODY vote to put any more of John McCain's kindergarten nonsense in the White House?
ENOUGH.

did people like you and karl rove respect john kerry, the vietnam war vet back in 2004?
hypocrite.

Notice how dmcdrkrain is fine with calling the POWs in the ad "brainwashed." Hypocrite.

Oh the way Kerry was respected by you ppl in 2004 for his service? Then it was ok but now you whine. Total hypocrisy.

Stop grousing and vote for the man who supports the troops, Barack Obama.

Change;
