@ SimplyTipp I understand what your saying..but in my humble opinion, I believe that you cannot actually be "delivered" from homosexuality. The feelings that you may have for the same sex are always going to be there, its just comes down to whether you choose to act on OR aknowledge those feelings.

As someone who was once a lesbian and a great one at that, I can honestly say, lesbianism is not the ultimate sin, no sin is greater than the other, but it is still a sin, and the Bible says that there is pleasure in sin for a season, and most churches won't give you that knowledge, they preach hell and damnation, but there will come a day when you realize that in order to go back with God, you must be delivered of homosexuality. But until you are ready, let no one scare you into the church.

I went to church and was made to feel like I was going straight to hell and that basically I was one of the ones god had given up on. I want to judged by the content of my character not by something I am. I came to know God through AA I came to beleive that I was not void of dencency and compassion I too can care being homosexual is not synonomous with sin any more than being hetrosexual is synonomous virtue.

I feel that people think that you have to go to church to have the relationship with God. I feel as though your relationship is personal. Being in love with God is one of those things that doesn't come easy but yet its worth working for. I love the fact that you two made this video because many people feel that God would dislike them because of this and that's not true. He has unconditional love for everyone. God is awesome.
I have a teacher that is atheist (spell check) & he tries to get us to come a way from maybe not god but from religion & i think he made 1 good point. He said why do people need a book to tell them what is right & what is wrong. If you need a book to tell you not to kill sombody then you have real issues. Not All Christians think that homosexuality is wrong. Many have been taught that because scriptures have been twisted and taken out of context to support certain peoples' views. Every Christian will agree that God makes NO mistakes, and so they have to say we in the LGBTQ have made a choice. God loves us JUST the way we are. We are commanded to love one another that is all I am trying to do.

It was considered an abomination for a man to spill his "seed" anywhere outside a woman's womb because Israel was trying to populate their nation. Therefore if anyone was having sex, it was to impregnate and for that purpose only.
Everyone who quotes the part of the Bible that states that homosexuality is an abomination, you all need to really study what the word abomination meant in the text in which it was written. There have been so many words that have been lost in translation when King James decided to take the Hebrew text and convert it to the king's English. I grew up Mormon it doesn't get any harder than that. The church loves me but, they promoted Prop8 in 2010 how does that help me to love my religion? I quote the bible because it's God's word. They claim to have a "strong personal relationship" with HIM so why not use HIS word to prove a point. You cannot have a TRUE relationship with GOD without 1st: accepting Jesus Christ into your heart and repent of your sins. 2 nd, reading, studying and mediating on his word ( the bible). 3rd, praying, and sending time in his presence daily. noone is without sin, thats the purpose of salvation. Salvation is an everyday process.
Exactly so who are you to judge them and determine what is a sin and what they are supposed to repent for ? You didn't answer my question. You may study god but you ARE NOT god. Their relationship with him is just that THEIRS, which means you need to know your place. Some women aren't able to bear children and some men can't produce children... does that make them an abomination as well? That "out of place" feeling you guys felt while in church was conviction from the Holy Spirit (God's Spirit). By saying you're not going to believe what man put in book, is ridiculous because God told man what to put into the bible. Whatever "church" you're going to that tells you homosexuality is OK, is not a church where the spirit of God is.Sodom and Gomorrah was swept clean because of the blasphemy, abominations and unbelief. I completely understand what you guys are saying in this video. I did not grow up in the church but I had many friends that were raised in the church. When I did find a church I was comfortable in I did find a connection with God that I still have today. i totally understand where u guys r coming from, i have always felt uncomfortable n church but i've always had a relationship with God. its all about finding the RIGHT church (if u want 2 go 2 church)- my wife grew up n a church that she loves and i was closed minded about trying it and she kept asking me 2 just try it and i finally did a few weeks ago and i love it...i grew up n a church that has always made me feel some kind of way but i found my church now.

It is so difficult to reconcile one's sexuality with one's spirituality when you are repeatedly told that you are unsaveable or an abomination or whatever other hurtful thing supposed representatives of God want to call us. But we have to stop letting people tell us that we can't have God or that God doesn't want us. God made us and knew us while we were in the womb. So, LGBTQ brothers and sisters, don't let people stand between you and God. Step around them and head to the source. Great vid.

Seriously @ another commenter.. I really don't think God would say a man and woman can't be together because they can't have kids. Not everyone wants to have children, straight or gay! So that means they can't love someone. There are many people who wish they were attracted to the opposite sex because of the drama that comes with a same sex relationship. SO yeah, u may choose to be with a person but I'd say it is some peoples destiny to end up who they're with.
God will never hate you for being gay , i don't have a problem with gay people . BUT, i also believe nobody is born gay or god made you gay. @ SimplyTipp I understand what your saying..but in my humble opinion, I believe that you cannot actually be "delivered" from homosexuality. The feelings that you may have for the same sex are always going to be there, its just comes down to whether you choose to act on OR aknowledge those feelings.

As someone who was once a lesbian and a great one at that, I can honestly say, lesbianism is not the ultimate sin, no sin is greater than the other, but it is still a sin, and the Bible says that there is pleasure in sin for a season, and most churches won't give you that knowledge, they preach hell and damnation, but there will come a day when you realize that in order to go back with God, you must be delivered of homosexuality. But until you are ready, let no one scare you into the church.

Thank you thank you thank you for making this video!!! My family is very very deeply rooted in the church and unfortunately when my parents found out I was a lesbian-they kicked me out. I went to church and was made to feel like I was going straight to hell and that basically I was one of the ones god had given up on. I have been searching for a way to connect with god because I know he is the only one that has helped me over come truggles in my life...so again ty and god bless...love ya vids!!!

I feel that people think that you have to go to church to have the relationship with God. I feel as though your relationship is personal. Being in love with God is one of those things that doesn't come easy but yet its worth working for. I love the fact that you two made this video because many people feel that God would dislike them because of this and that's not true. He has unconditional love for everyone. God is awesome.

I have a teacher that is atheist (spell check) & he tries to get us to come a way from maybe not god but from religion & i think he made 1 good point. He said why do people need a book to tell them what is right & what is wrong. If you need a book to tell you not to kill sombody then you have real issues. Idk if there is a God or not cuz ive never died but i dont think he is judging me cuz im gay if he is & not on my personality & my heart then im sorry but i dont wanna believe in that God.

Not All Christians think that homosexuality is wrong. Many have been taught that because scriptures have been twisted and taken out of context to support certain peoples' views. Every Christian will agree that God makes NO mistakes, and so they have to say we in the LGBTQ have made a choice. God loves us JUST the way we are. We are commanded to love one another that is all I am trying to do.

There have been so many words that have been lost in translation when King James decided to take the Hebrew text and convert it to the king's English. I grew up Mormon it doesn't get any harder than that. The church loves me but, they promoted Prop8 in 2010 how does that help me to love my religion? I love it when people quote parts of the bible just to prove their point & leave out the rest. That same bible also says "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" , So what gives man (human being) the right to tell someone else that the way they are living is wrong? I quote the bible because it's God's word. They claim to have a "strong personal relationship" with HIM so why not use HIS word to prove a point. You cannot have a TRUE relationship with GOD without 1st: accepting Jesus Christ into your heart and repent of your sins. 2 nd, reading, studying and mediating on his word ( the bible). 3rd, praying, and sending time in his presence daily. noone is without sin, thats the purpose of salvation. I completely understand what you guys are saying in this video. I did not grow up in the church but I had many friends that were raised in the church. When I did find a church I was comfortable in I did find a connection with God that I still have today. It is so difficult to reconcile one's sexuality with one's spirituality when you are repeatedly told that you are unsaveable or an abomination or whatever other hurtful thing supposed representatives of God want to call us. But we have to stop letting people tell us that we can't have God or that God doesn't want us. God made us and knew us while we were in the womb. You guys did a good job with such a touchy topic. You guys didn't give opinions or debate. Just speaking from the heart about your relationships with God. Just when I think you guys have reach a certain level you surpass it every time. thank you all so much for this topic video i have been struggling with this issue for the longest because of the house hold i grew up in but you guys have helped me out so much and i don't feel as bad anymore i know that it is possible to have a relationship with god even through the adversities of life and all the negativity that comes from people who look down on homosexuality. I dont think i could thank you guys enough it makes me happy to know im not the only one that has gone through this.
