As of now I am reading this book and wow. It is a hard book to read. I am only 15 lol but so far It's really good. I want to read this before the series Lord of the rings so i can understand it better. But I think reading hearing it might be a little easier to understand. And a movie of this would he hard. Just saying because It's all scenery and gods and stuff. So I don't have high hops for a movie. Good recording though.

@arkoooful I agree whole-heartedly. I've wanted for years to see the Silmarillion adapted to film-- though I don't think it would work very well as a single movie. A series of movies, perhaps, or maybe an A&E series. A&E has done such a wonderful job adapting other books in the past, and they always stay so close to the original work.
