OK... That's a good band but not better than Necrophagist... Necrophagist is something different than those kind of grindish-corish bands... Necrophagist have real unique sound, musicianship and have unique musical phrases in their songs...
Yes there are some good parts and riffs in this one but if you take it as a whole in means of sound and the direction it's heading to, it's nearly same from the beginning to the end. Even similar to SpawnOP.
@Autopsium meh, necrophagist is too squeedly for the sake of being squeedly for my taste. like, the riffs are good, but overall, the technicality's lost on me because it's so over-the-top. just about the only squeedly meedly band i like is brain drill because they still have a heavy dose of brutal death in their mix.
actually i agree with that... same thing was said for Dream Theater(i know it's an off-topic band but that was the one came to my mind)
It's really hard to blend the technicality with brutality. For example i prefer Panzerchrist to Necrophagist when i'm in a mood of preparation for a battle. I find Necrophagist too straightforward in means of emotional depth.
but in means of technicality and "grammar" they're the right band to choose... that's just my opinion of course
@Autopsium no doubt, suicmez is a fantastic guitarist and he has a great understanding of chord structures and arpeggios. definitely more technical than this band. but like you said, his music is just too straight forward. it's not particularly interesting after more than a couple listens, where i can listen to these guys (and for that matter, plenty of other deeds of flesh-type shit) over and over without getting bored with it. less is more. like with toilet paper.
I haven't . I'll check it out. I'm French myself, but France is sooooo consummed in rap/ hip hop that I find it hard to believe such metal proficiency could ever come from our dear hexagon.
good DISAVOWED brutality
