i can't tell how much i've watched this movie. one lesson it tells about is patience in times of trouble. Like Joseph who had to go through undeserved pains and billows but yet God gave him the most power over all the people. Jehova God is good, no one understands His ways but He remembers His children when they are prayerfully patient.

Does anyone know the name of the movie? It's about the story of Joesph, only with a different title? I saw it when i was little and i think it was called "Dreams" or "Dreamer of Dreams". Potiphar's wife would have dreams about making love to Joseph. They showed the execution of the cook by twisting a rope around his neck, it was a movie mainly about Joseph and his life during his slavery time up to the end of the movie when he became the overseer. It was alot like this movie. Does anyone know?

Joseph is actually an OT story of Jesus to a tee. Beloved by his Father, betrayed by his own people, tempted constantly, suffered constant persecution, and told of his Kingly prophecies that ie the sun moon and stars would worship Him etc along with his own kind eventually would bow down..

Israel denied Jesus, and crucified their Messiah, thus opening the way for the rest of the world.Prophets spoke about this (Isaiah for example)...and so did apostles.

@palmzhd I am a disciple of Christ, a "Christian", a term first used to describe a follower of Christ at Antioch (a gentile city). What biblical tribe or nation I am does not matter. Jesus died for all mans sins. I have God's grace because I heard the gospel, I believed, I repented, I confessed my faith, I was baptized, and now I live a Christian life and do my best to keep his commandments. I will pray that God softens your heart and allows you too see the truth and become my brother.

Remember all what Joseph went through - the way he was wailing while in the well, resist temptations, etc., while he was blessed with abilities such as capable administration, dream interpretations skills, and his faithfulness in referring to his God at a time, when the entire world seemed to believe otherwise. The biggest lesson he took away from his father Jacob was to trust in the Lord at all times.

is this movie 100% correct? in the bible it says the prisoner who got saved said that he would remember joseph because of his great interpretations. but in the movie they barely even talk.. maybe im confused

@Chyi2990 this movie does not follow the scripture 100% there are several scenes that were not correct (like the prison, the scene with the wife of Potiphar, when Josephs sister Dena was raped...etc)
