@jboypacman - I'm not a big fan of most of the movie toys either, they have too much detail I guess. I do like having an assortment of Primes though, fun to see how many kinds they can make.

Well, Transformers is more than just about "looks". No, really, Dozens of modern TF toys since 2007 has been qualified as a "great" toy or even called "amazing" ones not just for the looks.
And besides, these are not "updated" looks, it's just different aesthetics. It's the movie, not g1. It's not an update, only different.
I'm only really getting this for the axe. I'll probably give it to a different Optimus.
