Is there a reason why you didn't try to replicate that beautiful (and much lighter) blue of the flower arrangement? I would have thought that would have been de rigueur!

Wonderful painting. Great control with the liner brush. Loved that there was no need for the container for the painting to be complete.

Really nice painting. What tape are you using to stretch your paper? I used to use this gummed brown tape but can't seem to find it anywhere these days. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi,

In this video I'm using 140lb paper so it doesn't have to be stretched. Here, I'm using ordinary masking tape to hold the paper to the drawing board. I know, its almost impossible to buy the gummed paper nowdays. I use 140lb paper so I never have to stretch the paper.
