Everyone who thinks theres a hole produktion studio in it has no idea of the materia. That thing is made for jaming on the go, or sampling a few sounds.

i used a motu traveler (8 ins 10 outs) for my gigs with a computer, plu sa few m-audio controllers and ableton live 2 IIRC with reason rewired to it, with a slew of guitar pedals (was before the kp1 even existed, circa 2001, i think we had an alesis air FX tho, and the nord)

how do you route your DAW's VST's and instruments through your mixer onto your k.p. and kaossilator and to your out? (i just got my first daw and couple of controllers and am looking for something aside from FL8 produces edition, the Axiom 25 by M-audio and a LPD8 akai professional)

i dont, as i use no computer, but if you want to do it, get a multi I/O soundcard

good sound, in the first minutes i don't like, but after is a very very good live, 5 stars...i'm an young italian dj, i have an Mini kp that i use for effect and loop,and sometimes for strange sound with the programs from 90 to 99...When i have some $ i will buy also an Kaossilator...
