got a gtx 580 and it runs like crap on everything high at 1200p. it runs about 10 fps with everything maxed. some filtering removed etc it hits around 15-30 fps.
You will have to get atleast 2x gtx 580's if not 3x gtx 580's to run it on max at 60 fps.
@kebaben2000, no. Never buy prebuilt as it will come with a onboard card that sucks. Build your own(its like legos) and youll be able to have one twice as fast with the same cash

I can play this game with just about all settings maxed out on DX9 without Physx, but some fights do get pretty damn laggy. The outdoor levels in particular are really laggy, but that's mostly because of the sun rays. I just love them too much to get rid of them. :C

The only thing you should worry about is your lack of RAM, especially if you run on Windows Vista or 7. You want at least 2gb of RAM for Vista or 7. My old Dell came with 1gb of ram on Vista and all it did was bottleneck.
Regardless, if you turn the settings down to low you should be ok. The game isn't as laggy as people make it out to be. I mean, seriously, this game looks amazing.

@ilovegmod1 Swap the Athlon for a Phenom II, Athlons aren't really made for gaming. And get a socket AM3 or AM3+ motherboard. And swap the 5770 for a 6850. :D
And the amount of fps depends on ingame settings, DX9, DX11 and resolution etc.
@HardcoreCar19 Phenom II has L3 Cache, which I don't need unless I was at least getting a 5850, because then it begins to bottleneck the gpu. My motherboard supports AM3, and I don't got the money to get a 6850.

@Stalin777RUS Same thing happened with me, i had to put my old card back and install the drivers from the cd you get and that solved my problem, i think that you can start you'r computer in Safe mode but i don't think that you can install any drivers.
Ive encountered this problem before, and its because 5770 is 16x, I dont think it can go down to 8x. But, if it has a core i3, it should have 16x. I would say, try using different ports on the card. Or, go into the BIOS, and tell it to boot directly from the PCI express slot. Usually, those manufactured computers have the slots disabled for some reason. Anyways, hope you get it going, if it works let me know your FPS. I have the same card.
@Stalin777RUS when you installed the new video card did you go into bios and turn off your previous on-board video card? check your memory modules too, like mac said. New PCIE cards are quite large and they sometimes dislodge the memory modules by accident during installation.
@DI3S3L666 sorry bout that, more likely it's a memory issue being dislodged accidentally during installation. I just remembered that it came with an nvidia geforce gts 240 in the pcie slot, so you don't have to go into bios to disable anything..
@Stalin777RUS make sure you connect the 6pin connector from your power supply to your graphic card. if not, try to remove your graphic card and put it again

@Stalin777RUS be sure your power supply can handle your graphics card.. I am using 2 power supplies to run dual GTX 280 in SLI one card is a dedicated graphics power supply. or get a PC power supply with a single rail. if I had a single rail it would be no issue.

@akamwar I suggest you add 50% more RAM so that the ram won't bottleneck the process... It may not be able to keep up with the processor and the two cards you're using... but this game will surely run nicely even without 8gb ram

Here is a tip for all beginners, do not buy a 1GB card if it's less powerfull than a GTX 460 or HD6850, the 5770 is at the limit, anything below will not manage to

Palit GTX 460 Sonic 2 GB @ 800/1600/2000 is doing average 27fps at highest possible settings, everything enabled incl. PhysX on DX11. This game is a punch in the face to highend-GPUs. like f.e. Crysis or GTA4 were their days. If you have as serious CPU, try run PhysX on it instead using the GPU, at some games with PhysX this is the solution. Remember, serious CPU like all i7s, not a Q9550 and shit lol. I have one, 40 per cent OCed and it cant handle PhysX of this game :(
@jonassx100 i jist bought 2 x evga 580gtx superclocked graphic cards, the 580gtx is the best graphic card available but these cards have been professionally modified so they r even better, got them off of overclockers for £480 each, you wont be dissapointed !
u wont be able to max out with this rig, also dunno bout gtx 460 but its an physx card so it will run better than 5770, but with the money difference u could go for a Radeon 68xx

Not necessarily. In fact you can force the choice of PHYSX processor in the Nvidia control panel. I'm on an AMD cpu and my GPU handles physx. Because I told it to.

@Stalin777RUS Same thing happened with me, i had to put my old card back and install the drivers from the cd you get and that solved my problem, i think that you can start you'r computer in Safe mode but i don't think that you can install any drivers.

Ive encountered this problem before, and its because 5770 is 16x, I dont think it can go down to 8x. But, if it has a core i3, it should have 16x. I would say, try using different ports on the card. Or, go into the BIOS, and tell it to boot directly from the PCI express slot. Usually, those manufactured computers have the slots disabled for some reason. Anyways, hope you get it going, if it works let me know your FPS. I have the same card.

@Stalin777RUS when you installed the new video card did you go into bios and turn off your previous on-board video card? check your memory modules too, like mac said. New PCIE cards are quite large and they sometimes dislodge the memory modules by accident during installation.

@DI3S3L666 sorry bout that, more likely it's a memory issue being dislodged accidentally during installation. I just remembered that it came with an nvidia geforce gts 240 in the pcie slot, so you don't have to go into bios to disable anything..

@Stalin777RUS be sure your power supply can handle your graphics card.. I am using 2 power supplies to run dual GTX 280 in SLI one card is a dedicated graphics power supply. or get a PC power supply with a single rail. if I had a single rail it would be no issue.

@akamwar I suggest you add 50% more RAM so that the ram won't bottleneck the process... It may not be able to keep up with the processor and the two cards you're using... but this game will surely run nicely even without 8gb ram

I mean 80% GPU, 20% other, memory around 1-2% CPU around 18-19%.
Don't waste money, buy the best VGA what you can, a dual core CPU and 2 or 4 gigs of RAM ( RAM prices are low because of overproduction so buy 4 gigs, but 2 is enough).

@macskap Agreed, I would get 4GB of RAM, just because it's cheap, but if you are on a really tight budged you can get 2GB and later on add 2GB more.
I'm actually planing on building a new rig and I will use an Athlon II X3 and invest more in a Sapphire HD6850.
By the way whar resolution are you playing at, 1280x1024 I gues?
Here is a tip for all beginners, do not buy a 1GB card if it's less powerfull than a GTX 460 or HD6850, the 5770 is at the limit, anything below will not manage to

WTF? I have 4 gb ddr3 1600mhz, gigabyte hd 5770 1gb gddr-5 (overclocked at 960/1300) phenom II 555 black edition 3,6ghz (2 cores) and i get about 10fps or less on these settings like you're playing! well i play on 1920x1080 ofcourse :D maybe that's why :D

Palit GTX 460 Sonic 2 GB @ 800/1600/2000 is doing average 27fps at highest possible settings, everything enabled incl. PhysX on DX11. This game is a punch in the face to highend-GPUs. like f.e. Crysis or GTA4 were their days. If you have as serious CPU, try run PhysX on it instead using the GPU, at some games with PhysX this is the solution. Remember, serious CPU like all i7s, not a Q9550 and shit lol. I have one, 40 per cent OCed and it cant handle PhysX of this game :(
