You have to remember that Derren is excellent as observation. He watches his victims er sorry contestants for about a fortnight to see how "suggestable" they might be. Therefore someone suggestable would get in a pre-booked taxi, probably follow a map out of curiosity and could well enter a building. That what makes the programme fun

He was able quite easily to disprove all of it to the point where he was accepted into their "Psychic Academy" as the genuine article !!!

Yes, I think it's called an ambigram, when a word is written in such a way that it becomes another word when you turn it upside down. Sometimes it is a word written in such a way, when you turn it upside down it still says the same word.

There are examples of ambigrams at wikipedia, they're clever.

Its amazing that when people sign up to be in one of Deren's Shows, they do not realise what they might be letting themselves in for. He is after all a very clever illusionist. It does not take an ounce of nouse to realise that if I were sitting in a taxi with a non-communacative driver, it just might have something to do with Derren's mischievious sense of humour. Especially if several weeks before I had signed up and attended an audition beforehand.

I'd love to be in a show but not sure I would fall for the stunt. By the way folks - Series 2 of Trick or Treat is rumoured to be coming out in the Spring.
