No it is set betwen Halo 2 and 3. The explosion is the Prophet of Truth's carrier warping to Delta Halo. The Cheif was on the ship so it can't be him as the main character.

you dont "finish" the fight. remember, it takes place around halo 2 AND halo 3. so technically you will end in pretty much the same time span as both. those fuckers at bungie should have just made a frickin Halo 4. >:/

I downloaded something about this. All the description said was a new campaign feature. What it is I have no idea. Maybe its a new level or just something new in an existing level...

It is basically an expansion that is made up of downloadable content. It will have multiplayer support, looking at the new achievements on X-Box Live's website, it has Skull achievments and player kill/infect? achievments, it's apparently some sort of new flood/zombie thing.

No more info yet, but that's what is known so far. Known as the "Mythic Map Pack" but it includes expanded game features also.

No it was probably the new update you got. It just changes some features to the game in matchmaking but not much. It gives you about 750 more GP to unlock. But the new Mythic Map Pack will add more achievements, levels, and new features. Halo 3 has the record of having the most achievements for one game.

Halo 3: Keep It Clean will likely feature an AI known as the "Superintendent". We see the "superintendent" as the figure with a face that is seen in the movie several times. The attacks on Mombasa are viewed through his eye.

Although it is not known EXACTLY his purpose, it is thought the custodian is a city AI, used for upkeep and security etc.The new expansion will likely feature helljumpers. Possibly unrelated to the spartan program OR a former spartan now HJ

Yea to go along with what EF Spartan stated about that pod is that at 14 seconds you see a single pod on fire on the top left hand side of the screen. Then later at 45seconds, it shows you a before and after picture with the pod still there, still with out being opened or what not with its passenger inside. I don't know if that has any importance but just something I saw, especially when it flickers before and after with it still there.

Between 11 and 13 seconds on the right side of the screen between the middle sky scraper and the much smaller 1 you can see what looks like a covenant cruiser moving into view and another 1 ahead of it moving out of view. Also at 17 seconds is that the ring or just a ridiclously tall tower 1 more thing at 22 seconds what is that in the sky right side of the screen I have a hard time believing that it is clouds. neone have answers??? id like to hear them.

I don't know if anyone noticed or not but when it said "Keep it clean" Before that there was message that said "Maddie,WHERE ARE YOU?" at 0:37 Anyone know what that means?Also if you'll notice the single pod we see at the end of the video...The time counter was working and it said MBARAKI.2552 16:05:13:78 while at the beginning where one saw the large amount of pods it said MBARAKI.2552 16:11:19:12,meaning that the single pod arrived before the others.

i bet you this whole video was made to throw you off big time while they develop something freaken sweet. it might be a cutscene where after you beat this level it then introduces the main character and then fast fowards in time to present (end of halo 3) and remember the huge amazing diorama that they made? there could be THAT mission in this "expansion". you never know with bungie thats for sure.

so it looks like the covenant city the flood took control of at at the end of halo 2 must have made it through a seperate portal after the ring self destructed after halo 3 and crashed into new Mombasa releasing the flood once more

I strongly think that the pod at the end is Chief in there. Makes sense, arriving at the end in a pod alone.

What I think is all the other pods were escape pods, and Cortana launched them all so Chief could get down to the planet. And the explosion... probably the ship crashing into the city?

Well since Mombasa is a port city on the East African coast of Kenya and the Indian Ocean, it obviously means over flooding of the city from the ocean and smaller water bodies.

alright it takes a lot of attention to the minor details to get any info from this clip, but this is what ive got so far. This clip is in the same period as the halo 2 and 3. The city is New Mombasa, which they called lumbasa, which means they remade it after its destruction or this was before that battle on halo 2. And the city was evacuated from a flood outbreak.

if anyone can correct me, I think this maybe a halo 3.5 (between halo 3 and a possible "halo 4") maybe something new has happened and the UNSC are back in action against...The Flood! due to the mentioning of a Danger: Flood Zone (or something like that) and you play as the marines or maybe even Covenant Separatists as they help out the marines (although not seen in video it could be possible) and then at the end it will show an ending clip of Cortana waking up the chief.

this is a campaign expansion it takes place between the 1st battle of new mombassa and the 2nd you will either play as a ODST (based on the HEVs in the vid) or as a marine commander and it will be squad based This could be the reason why Christian Allen, a former Marine and Red Storm employee who worked on the Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six series, joined Bungie also at the part where there is a scrambling of letters you notice a date in the top part which most likely is the release dat 01/06/09
