  • Butch is fucking cool as hell. How many people produce one of the biggest albums of all time, and play drums in an awesome band all at the same time? One of my heroes!

  • Dave Grohl and Danny Carey...

The two best drummers of all time.

  • CCTEVO - thanks for the info! I love this kind of stuff.

  • I still miss Nirvana .. great, anarchic times.

  • here is the real history, with the songs come as you are, and smells like teen sprit,

before they was really discovered, they was playing live, in club in Sheiffied Alabama just across the bidge, the real words writer for Money For Nothing, Cletus Christopher Thornton, wrote the songs words with input from the band, during thier beer break and teens throwing them selves at them, several female virgin teens got live that night, Corbin call Thornton just before Corbin died on the day of the death.

  • This guy and I share the same Birthday.......I'd just love to share the same job.

  • @KingOfTheClutch Haha, yea, I think he have one of the greatest jobs too!

  • 100 is on me!

  • Dave Grohl, the greatest living drummer in the world

  • What do u mean the words shut the fuck up all his words are great.ur just to much of a pussy to realize it fag

  • 0:01 to bump past commecials

  • Kurt, Krist, and Dave make the perfect trio. When you put them together you get the best band in the whole world, Nirvana.

  • no one gives krist enough respect! you know how much he did for this band!? i say he is my favorite second only to kurt... but dave is awesome too

  • @starwarsboy41 loli hear ya krist is my favourite artist and kurt is second, i like both but i looked up krist and i liked him more

  • @FlechFisher it takes balls to say that man. Krist is my favorite too. He rocked just as hard and nirvana was just as much his vision as kurts...they were inseperable. They were the Lennon and McCartney of the 90s. It just happened to be better when Krist didn't sing...lmao.

  • @punk91 ho sorry that was a long time ago but now kurt is first but i love krist too thanks

  • Kurt's vocals and Dave's drumming together made this song a masterpiece.

  • Immaculate.

  • David Grohl and John Bonham are my two favorite drummers. The sound of the drums on this song as well as the whole album are indescribable. Pure driving brilliance. The only other song that has drums that sound as good as this is the song "When The Levee Breaks" by Led Zep

  • I remember thinking the same thing when I first heard Smells Like Teen Spirit. I was like,"whaaaaat was that" it was so good I had to let my brain process it all. Like a deer caught in headlights, I just stood there and watched the video for the first time. I had never heard anything like it before in my life. Quite possibly the best song of the 90s... well, maybe first 2/3rds of the 90s because then, of course, Daft Punk turned us all into robots! LOL :)

    Nirvana+Daft Punk=2 best bands ever :D

  • @emptybluecows i think we all feel the same the very firts time we heard slts... for me is the 90´s song...and the sound of a new generation....was amazing be part of that time and be fan of this band...miss Kurt and 90´s the best music.

  • @emptybluecows i like you. a lot.

  • Oh well, whatever, nevermind.

  • @Addiction747 Love those words! Fuck, Nirvana was awesome :O!

  • @TheGriff45

    OH well, whatever, nevermind

  • grohl kicks ass

when i hear SLTS i focus so much to the drums

  • this is actually a really easy song to play on the drums. it's all in the volume. and intensity.

  • @Studmon182 you should check out his playing with Them Crooked Vultures.

Dave, Josh Homme (QoTSA) and John Paul Jones... it kicks ass.

  • @Studmon182 Agree, he is such a good drummer!

  • @Studmon182 my friend too (he's a drummer) and that's the only thing he points out when he explains that he hates the song -.-

  • @Studmon182 i hear that

  • The original lyrics from the demo version were better! "Come out in play, take off the clothes.."

  • I thought it was "come out and play, you make the rules"

  • Dave Grohl the maniac :)

  • THE MANIMAL!

  • Oh Well, Whatever, Nevermind

  • @wareaglefoo - the best title of the album ever! So humble, but yet one of the best rock albums of all time!
