2002 Kings were one of the greatest teams to watch and one of the most dominant teams around. These Lakers were scrubs compared to the Kings. Games 4 and 6 were rigged for sure. Have to be blind to not see the one sided officiating
that shot broke my heart man. kings and lakers had some good battles. i dont know if this was the series or not but kobe elbowed the shit out of my man bibby, that should have been an offensive
prison time. even then, if the kings were so great, why did they fall off after that season? at least mitch richmond was wise enough to put on the purple and gold to win a championship. smart man.
I almost died that day...laying on the floor in shock. What an amazing shot. I was at the game two days before when the Lakers got smoked, then went back home to PHX and was looking at the Lakers going down 1-3...then the comeback...then THE SHOT. Wow. This shot and throwing a towel in Danny Ainge's face are two of the biggest reasons I will always appreciate Horry.
note how the broadcast was on NBC...please if the right person sees this, bring the NBA back to NBC, and get Marv Albert and Bill Walton to call games together again, please.
that mite be top 5 BEST PLAYS Ever in NBA, i donno why it doesnt get as much respect, If THEY lost that game, they were in a HUGE HOLE, in that series
I forgot rick aidelman was the coach of the kings during this embarrassing loss to MY LAKERS. THE GREAST TEAM IN NBA HISTORY!

One of my favorite shots of all time, but game 6 clouds it too much. The absolute worst officiated series in all of sports. No doubt about it.
(Insert Lakers fan usual defense: "The Kings should have made their FTs in game 7, not our fault.")
AdrianPetersonFan369 8 months ago
One of the worst officiated series in the history of sports.
The NBA's bottom line depended on getting LA to the finals. That market there at the end raked in the dollars for the league.
Sad.

was that a clutch? I always wondered wat a clutch was.
Ray21Mex 3 years ago
clutch is the last couple minutes of the 4th quarter (or any overtime) when either team has a lead of 5 or less.
players that play good in that pressure are clutch
