You probably know this but Justine was released for part of the Portal 2 ARG. A bunch of games had hidden achievements in them, unlocking them all eventually gave the player the Valve complete pack for free. In Amnesia you had to save every person and find every note/secret in Justine. They intentionally made it crash on death to add difficulty.

Mind = Blown: Barley and Spike both play this game, and they both frequent Charles and Struts. What I've come to believe is that Charles is just an old, decrepit version of Barley that came back through time to warn his younger self that he was going to lose his legs and not to do that thing he does that makes him lose them. However, Future Barley - AKA Charles - gets stuck in the past time, and Struts - AKA Spike, comes back to save him and gets stuck too. Needless to say, they're both pissed..
