  • Nice one mate, awesome bit of 3d motion tracking & character animation.

  • thanks

  • I really like this.

  • wow!

  • wow that's really good, I'm learning boujou but I think it's too hard, how long have you spend learning boujou? good workk

  • Actually, bojou is pretty straight forward and is one of the most simple steps of all the work that has been done for this short clip. I remember there was some sort of wizard walking you through the steps of camera matching.

  • hey i gatta say that was real, real work, which lokd realy realistic...lolz.. by the way it was outrageous... now i got questions 4u... i can use 3dsmax n boujou and After effects for compositing...m not pro at these softwares but still can get the work done...ok...

    questions are..

1).did u learned all these softwares from som college or something

2).n ru a professional working in studio for some studio...

    thanks plz reply...

  • Thanks

No, i am not a professional. I learned all by myself.

  • awesome

  • this rocks!

  • lol nice work. when you tracked the footage, did you create geometry in boujou and export it into 3DS for the sidewalk so you knew where he had to trip?

Is motion builder your compositing app, or combustion? im not familiar with either.

  • I used the points predicted by boujou to create the sidewalk in 3d Studio Max. I needed this mostly for the shadow casting rather than knowing where the character had to trip. Combustion was the compositing app. Motion builder was for the character animation.

  • In boujou 4 you export a 3d mesh you create by selecting 3 points after the camera tracking. The geometry in boujou is just to test if you did the tracking alright.

  • good work!

  • thank you

  • wow that looked soo real.Nice job!

  • thats so gd, whats the name of the software u used??

  • that is Boujou, 3d Studio Max, Motion Builder and Combustion right there. Sorry for the low quality. You tube "took care" of that because it's fast motion.

  • Great movie! 5/5

  • thank you!

  • haha :)

  • haha :)
