Another way to " don't get sex" is by not dipping the ball down right before you release it. If you keep the ball up high when you rotate the ball you'll also have a quicker release. Just watch Kellen Moore. He's pretty good

and everybody has their own version of the correct way to play Quarterback, the answer is how to play Quarterback ? play it with your own style. If you're a gunslinger don't try to be a picture perfect fundamental 3 step and 5 step drop guy do your own thing with your strides when you step back and throw. The main thing is just developing your own way of playing the game. Look at Brett Favre he isnt the best fundamental quarterback when dropping back but his career has been successful
