Can't agree with you more. The whole point of photographs is to get a buyer interested enough in your property that they will want to actually visit your home. Well lit, color filled images engage emotion and emotion sells. And, good photos don't have to be expensive. It will make Mr. and Mrs. Seller very happy and will help to generate lots of leads. I shoot about 10 homes per week and attempt to deliver 'architectural digest' quality photos for less than $100!
Thank You for making the point. If I may add... Pro photos have a price. I find many agents reluctant to spend the money. I do not think it is unreasonable for the seller to foot this bill.
Damn come here to Arizona! Not only do agents absolutley REFUSE to take proper photos, they 1) think the junk they take is actualy good and 2) refuse to update the MLS listings even after the homeowner pays a professional to re-shoot the house!
