This mission is possible to solve in several different ways. What is show here is the plain attack but if one waits the tank will stop at the café and the driver will get out to grab a coffe and then its possible to steal the tank without a bullet fired.

@Munch180 If I remember correctly you can also just tail the tank until it reaches a garage and steal it right then and there...but the cafe approach is the simplest one.

Other more difficult thing to do is to place a helicopter in their way, the soldiers cant move it and then you snipe the driver and any other fighting back.

This mission is solvable in so many ways...miss that...in VC a lot of missions were solvable in different ways...

Yur doin it wrong. When you get to the convoy, tail the truck at the back, and then, near the police station the convoy stops for donuts, then you steal the tank. Because you approach from behind, they won't notice you until you are getting in or are in the tank, then just drive to the drop off and your done.
