It sucks because you cant continue after your done like i wanna see what has happen to everything but i cant because you gotta start over....Other than that i played this game for 12 hours one night and everyday i played it i loved this game.
Really...and awesome game, this game made me think if I like it more than Zelda, but no, zelda is my fav, but tales of symphonia, i really love this game.
Colette's parting words were my favorite, actually shes my favorite character lol. I would have liked lloyd in this, but different voice actor, and i can't get over it. Also I was expecting something epic from lloyd's parting words. So Colette takes the gold medal imo.

So in my opinion : 1st) HORRIFIC y would Tales studio do such a thing?!!!! 2nd) So sad T-T and y if he's gonna destroy the realm after 1000 years, can't he release emil and blast it from the other side while escaping with Richter? And 3rd) Well it was better than the first 2 and I personally prefer that it was the normal one.
Sooo the normale ending is 30 minutes long? dam... lol :P So far ive only got the perfect ending and im currently on my second playthrough i hope i got the normale ending this time i just got to the 8th chapter :) This is one of my favourite games one of the best things about it is the monsters that you can capture I want to catch them all and get the final forms :)
Like when you see Lloyd fighting Decus and you have to pick which one is the real Lloyd, and other choices like that. Also, i don't think those are important. Mainly just beat Richter and if you want the bad ending kill Lloyd and Marta. If you want the normal ending let Lloyd and Marta beat you, and if you want the good ending, play on new game plus, and let Lloyd and Marta beat you, and make sure you beat Ratatosk. Hope this helped.
I just read somewhere that you needed to be on new game+ to get it, so yea i was going by that, i didn't get the good ending because i messed up(by accident) and picked the wrong Lloyd(just so you know what happens, Zelos will stop you and say somethin about the cologne and that the llyod u charged after was real, and the other's the fake, and it's decus.).

Nice ending. If they continue off the world of Aselia, I would hope they go more into the Ancient War or perhaps into the countries of Fenrir, Odin, and Thor. Or maybe what happens at Derris Kharlan later and the emerging of Dhaos.
@ViciousThanatos I would like to see a game involving the golden age of Aselia (the whole Fenrir, Odin and Thor thing) I saw that scene in Phantasia when the party goes into Thor what it appears to be a New York esque metropolis city and I was like "Holy tits".

@makilore I believe that was an older Luke at the end of tales of the abyss. Notice he had asch's sword on him when the cape blew away. Also his hair was red and grew back long again.

in the normal ending he does not get out of the Ginnungagap.....in the perfect ending Ratatosk devide himself in two forms....Emil and Ratatosk....and he sends Emil back to the world to live as a human beign XD
I'm still in the middle of the game a friend of mine share this so that's mean it has 3 kinds of ending.. but I dont mind if i know this.. cause it just make me eager to play it .
The game is worth playing and you really entertain and I must say.. I trully a fan of this one.. hehe
Without spoiling you, I can say, that the perfect ending is merely an extention of a few minutes to the "normal" ending (so you can catch that on youtube).
You get it if you make "the right choices" throughout the game - which are the obvious ones, "Bow down to Lloyd at beginning of game? - yes/no" and such.
Also, the decision if you get the "bad" ending is made literally at the very end of the game, so you can easily go back to the final save and try the other ending.
@crazy4sian I played through the game on normal and got the true ending. That unlocked a gallery with the art work. Even the kiddy drawings of Loyd :D
I love this game! The story is genious and I really like the character development. The ending just puts the icing on the cake. That scene with the music was great, i didn't cry but I could feel it coming!
Personally, I play through games like this for two reasons. The Final Boss, and the story. FFX and this are . . . perfect for this. I made sure to get the Perfect Ending, but then I was getting annoyed with having to make wrong decisions throughout the game, so I just decided to check Youtube to see the endings.
Gotta' say, love the fact that I got the perfect ending, else I would have HAD to play through, because this and the bad ending . . . would kill me.

It's really hard for games to make me cry, but honestly this game succeded in doing so. The ending along with the credits and the song played is just the perfect combonation to bring me tears. I loved the game. Not as good as the first, but still awesome.

This makes me really glad that I got the Good ending on my first playthrough (and so far only completed playthrough, though I did get up to chapter 2 of my second). While it's not as big of a slap in the face as the bad ending, it really feels unsatifying. It's like "great, Richter gets to be free in 1000 years, but Emil and Marta will never be together).
I also completely agree with you, Omega. It's not as good as the first game and it has tis flaws, but it's still excellent.

Your right Omega. When I first played this game, I thought it was the best RPG i've played yet. Then I got board of it, now I feel that its still a great game. I love the story, and the nostalgic of the characters. I was a little upset of the restrictions, but the story made up for it.
wrong phantasi is 4000 years after symphonia. during the last 3000 ratatosk will fail to prevent demons to cross the path to the real world where as the appereance of Dhaos( Lord of demon)

well sort of. it doesn't have the extra cut scene at the end after the credits but it also doesn't have the rest of the cut scene right after where it cuts off before the credits. in the "good" ending it has the cut scene after the credits and the rest of the cut scene before the credits where richter and the centurions convince ratatosk to separate himself so emil can live a happy rest of his life. so in a way there are two cutscenes missing in the normal ending that are in the good ending.
if you played symphonia 1 you would know that he said he was going to release the shackles when the journey was over. His journey ended. Thus, No shackles.
i don't recommend another badass to comment bad things about this game. if u got any moral left in you, why did u even bothered to watch this vid if u know this is gonna make u comment something bad. don't u appreciatte the producers hard works? go get a life!!!

tales of Symphonia 1 en 2 belongs to a serrie (the tales serrie)
tales of the world is 1 for the psp and lloyd and his friend are in that game. (en some more out the other tales games/serrie)
and there are mush more tales serrie's
but there only 1 for the wii.

the best thing of this game is that when you start it you cant stop playing it!!!
everytime you discover something it gives you so much curious things that you cant stop really....you want to know what happens after that and you continue playing....its like magic lol....by the way i have finished it yesterday and i got the Perfect ending....i was truly satisfied but not really....well i want to finish this game again and again....its too much entertain to play!!! i also want all monsters XD

in the normal ending he does not get out of the Ginnungagap.....in the perfect ending Ratatosk devide himself in two forms....Emil and Ratatosk....and he sends Emil back to the world to live as a human beign XD

I'm still in the middle of the game a friend of mine share this so that's mean it has 3 kinds of ending.. but I dont mind if i know this.. cause it just make me eager to play it .
The game is worth playing and you really entertain and I must say.. I trully a fan of this one.. hehe

Without spoiling you, I can say, that the perfect ending is merely an extention of a few minutes to the "normal" ending (so you can catch that on youtube).
You get it if you make "the right choices" throughout the game - which are the obvious ones, "Bow down to Lloyd at beginning of game? - yes/no" and such.
Also, the decision if you get the "bad" ending is made literally at the very end of the game, so you can easily go back to the final save and try the other ending.

@crazy4sian I played through the game on normal and got the true ending. That unlocked a gallery with the art work. Even the kiddy drawings of Loyd :D

Yes. A gallery becomes available after you complete the game with the good enging ... maybe it also happens for the "normal" ending, not sure.

I love this game! The story is genious and I really like the character development. The ending just puts the icing on the cake. That scene with the music was great, i didn't cry but I could feel it coming!

Personally, I play through games like this for two reasons. The Final Boss, and the story. FFX and this are . . . perfect for this. I made sure to get the Perfect Ending, but then I was getting annoyed with having to make wrong decisions throughout the game, so I just decided to check Youtube to see the endings.
Gotta' say, love the fact that I got the perfect ending, else I would have HAD to play through, because this and the bad ending . . . would kill me.

dude there missing a sean sorry a/b the spelling but emil is let free i guess you have to make the right chosses throw the game in the perfect ending marta is looking over the ocean and she is talking then emil walks up behind her and she turns around sees him then huggs him then it ends there

It's really hard for games to make me cry, but honestly this game succeded in doing so. The ending along with the credits and the song played is just the perfect combonation to bring me tears. I loved the game. Not as good as the first, but still awesome.

i was big fan if first one, so why i would hate this? :D i havent played this much beacase my wii broke but i can already tell...a perfect game only disapointment was world map..i was hoping for world map like at first one :) but thats only bad for me :)

This makes me really glad that I got the Good ending on my first playthrough (and so far only completed playthrough, though I did get up to chapter 2 of my second). While it's not as big of a slap in the face as the bad ending, it really feels unsatifying. It's like "great, Richter gets to be free in 1000 years, but Emil and Marta will never be together).
I also completely agree with you, Omega. It's not as good as the first game and it has tis flaws, but it's still excellent.

I did that. It took 45 minutes since I was at level 200 and each of thier hits only took one hit point. IT WAS HELL!!!!

lol but they could make one with the four heroes, their versions of the stories... i mean by heroes, Kratos, Mithos, Yuan and martel. Did you know that Kratos and yuan were arch ennemy during the Kharlan war, one being from tethealla, and the other from Sylvarant? It would be very interesting to know more stuffs about them.

yes its meiw in the minute 7:44 you can see it, and yes it's only in Tales of Abyss, but ToA and ToS belong to Tales Of series of Bandia/Namco, Two really greats games wth ToVesperia!!!!

Your right Omega. When I first played this game, I thought it was the best RPG i've played yet. Then I got board of it, now I feel that its still a great game. I love the story, and the nostalgic of the characters. I was a little upset of the restrictions, but the story made up for it.

wrong phantasi is 4000 years after symphonia. during the last 3000 ratatosk will fail to prevent demons to cross the path to the real world where as the appereance of Dhaos( Lord of demon)

I'm happy that I got the good ending on my first playthrough. This one kinda leaves me "unsatisfied" for some reason. Needs more happy IMO. Still a good ending, though.

well sort of. it doesn't have the extra cut scene at the end after the credits but it also doesn't have the rest of the cut scene right after where it cuts off before the credits. in the "good" ending it has the cut scene after the credits and the rest of the cut scene before the credits where richter and the centurions convince ratatosk to separate himself so emil can live a happy rest of his life. so in a way there are two cutscenes missing in the normal ending that are in the good ending.

if you played symphonia 1 you would know that he said he was going to release the shackles when the journey was over. His journey ended. Thus, No shackles.

Oops, I meant that he DOESN'T have a crystal, but Ratatosk will use him as a seal for 1k years by putting extra mana into him at times.
