not offense or anything, but we risk our lives doing this day to day to make a living. our friends and family die because they fall off like this, and get trampled. This guy was very lucky, but the title of this vid, no offenese again, it isn't funny at all
@pencilcasegameboy I couldn't tell if he "hung on" for 2nd or for 3rd. He gets that, right? As long as you go across the finish line with horse & rider together, you're not DQed. Isn't that correct?
@swashbuckle11 So does that make it abuse for horses to run on their own in mud out in a pasture? Horses run in mud all the time so that doesn't make this abuse.
As long as the horse passes across the finish line with the jockey, the finish counts. If the horse is missing his jockey, he's disqualified (a jock can't fall to the ground and remount; he's still disqualified). I'm pretty sure this finish counted, even though the jockey was in the wrong spot, lol
So here is an example where you can tell how gentle some horses are
If the horse would have put his head down, he wouldn't have any chance to hold on ;)

breyerrockers123 1 year ago
@breyerrockers123 no they actually have mud things on the bottom of their shoes so it feels like a regular dry track.

You apparently are not a horse racing fan. This has happened many times before.
Much credit to the joc for saving his mount. Not "funny" at all. You are easily amused.
