  • sam harris needs to be more blunt. fuck his feelings

  • I'm a believer. A believer that religion is bullshit!!! Sam Harris ripped these guys.

  • @daniel11812

Yes, great comment! Happy New Year too!

  • lol that christian got boned.

  • @hobbohippy2

    Yup! Thanks!

  • This guy looks like Ben Stiller

  • @VitalSigns1

Well, they're both bright young American men, and Jewish, although we All have shared genetics. Thanks for watching too!

  • @VitalSigns1 It's Stiller vs Donahue

  • @ 3:28 except in the case of 'just war'. LOL all these religious people are lunatics! What makes their 'war just'?

  • @Typho0n86

True. religion is Mental Illness. Thanks for watching too! Be Well!

  • Sam Harris owned these two buffoons.

  • @ndrthrdr1

Yes, and the best part, they're still blissfully unaware of that simple reality. Thanks for watching and posting also!

  • Hugh Hewitt is disgusting.

  • @Roan7995

Yes, as well as being an Idiot, no offense to Idiots intended. Thanks for watching too! Be Well!

  • It was so hard to listen to Hewitt, wow, what a brainwashed buffoon!

  • @templarart

LOL! Yes, true. hewitt is such a self-obsessed moron it's astonishing. Thanks for having watched and posting too!

  • Why does Hewitt keep using straw man, red herring, and sacred cow arguments? Oh yeah, wait. He is a Christian, that's why. Asshole

  • @el100783

Yes, that's exactly right. hewitt couldn't think his way through an open door. christians, they're funny. Thanks for watching too!

  • "Hitlerism?"...is that the historical term?

  • @el100783

LOL! And Hitler was a devout christo-Psychotic too. Here's what Hitler said : "I am convinced that I am acting as the agent of our creator. By fighting off the Jews, I am doing the lord's work. . . I am now as before a catholic and will always remain so." Adolph Hitler 1941

    Nice man, LOL!

  • Hugh Hewitt really reveals the cynicism behind the motives of most people who advocate for religion. He only cares about creating the basic red herring arguments that distract from any more constructive debate. As long as the question remains, he gets to define the role of doubt vs. objective knowledge. It's so nakedly political and slimy, and yet it is effective. Hugh Hewitt "believes" in god? I doubt he believes anything he espouses.

  • @kern0099

Excellent comment, well put. hewitt is a peculiar fellow, seems a few bricks shy of a load too. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • Wow, Hugh simply refuses to allow Sam's points to cross his own mind. I think Hewitt is a smart guy and well read but misses the entire thesis of Sam's book all together, that is creating new rules for conversation (on religious topics of course.)

As the years go by since 9-11 (which influenced and motivated Harris to write his books) the case against religion is growing larger and larger and in a non-violent way :)

  • @xavierofbodom

True, but that point you made demonstrates that hewitt is not smart, nor able to grasp simple points. hewitt is so brainwashed and disturbed, like an al Qaeda member, that he's too screwed up to see he's no different than any religio-Psychotic on Earth. Sam Harris is exactly right. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • I'm a liberal busy defending "Hitlerism" while listening to Lee Greenwoods "Proud to be an american " on an infinite loop. How did he know?

  • @bdobbsthepipe

LOL! Thanks for watching and for commenting too! Have a fine week as well!

  • Hugh, you're missing the point, and arguing morality by defining your version of sky despot as having written a very clearly defined set of rules. It/he has not!

  • @dwolfcoach

Excellent, and true. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • @mccainisthrough

hey thank you so much for uploading this.

    Sam is a great teacher

  • @Serpico261

Thanks for the kind words. Thanks for watching and commenting as well. Have a terrific week!

  • I hope I don't sound overly-arrogant when I say that most atheists that I have met-including several I assisted get off the fence-had to step outside of themselves, and the views of many people they knew. It was a difficult and sometimes heart-wrenching experience. I know the religious have experiences that are difficult and "spiritual" as well. But I don't think they can understand how it is to let go of indocernation and the concept of god when you've been raised on to believe.

  • @hoboboxerjoe

There is no mental illness as deep as that of religion, it's very sad. People are smarter on their own than in cults like christianity and the like. If children weren't raised on religion, and were only taught facts and science, the Earth would be about 10% religious. Thanks for the insight. Be Well!

  • My 2 cents for why usa needs to be as religious it is, is because its easier to recruit soldiers then.

  • @ThermalHD

And votes for President form Idiots! Thanks for watching and for commenting too! Have a nice weekend also!

  • I love when christian apologists do the whole "Oh great book but its fundamentally flawed from X perspective" and don't qualify the statement in the least. Srsly why doesn't Sam call him on that?

  • @GallusSapien

Good point. Sam cuts down all the imaginary trees these Kooks erect, there is a method to his arguments. He knows they're mentally challenged too, so he avoids correcting their idiocy, they're too sick to understand it. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • Sam is so clear and easy to follow, his logic and reason are flawless. Hugh on the other hand seems very muddy and scattered.

It’s very difficult to present a logical argument against someone who just merely “believes” in something on the basis of .....nothing.

  • @easyas314

Incredibly well said, perfect in fact! Thanks for watching and the fantastic comment!! Be Well!

  • What's funny is how much ex-lawyers you find actually preaching... A symptom ? Surely...

  • @Acrimonator

LOL! hewitt is a moron. He would be as effective in a courtroom as a pair of hogs in tutus. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • Hewitt is......... I don't even know.....

  • @cheeseandbabys

LOL! Well put, neither does hewitt. He's so backwards he needs to set up two mirrors to dress himself. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a nice week ahead!

  • hugh hewitt is a tool. hate lawyers they don't have the same standard of evidence as scientists and they think they are right.. no ye are not when you come up to science's standard then we will talk

  • @johnnyd101

LOL! hugh is a tool. Excellent comment, and thanks for watching also! Be Well!

  • Sam is AWESOME!

  • @xephyr1000

He truly is spectacular. He's composed and ultra-articulate, not to mention, quite sane. It's hard for a loony to hang on his heels. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • All that Mr. Hewitt could do is create a mixture of preaching, pointedly ad hominem attacks, deliberate misinformation with intent to confuse, and a hint of political and personal bias against Sam Harris. And no, Harris doesn't have a bias towards Hewitt in even close to the same vein. I constantly see this in debates with theists. They get really personal and when backed into a corner they oftn throw insults or wishes that you would burn in hell. The most amoral thing you could wish on someone

  • @hoboboxerjoe

That's precisely right, but Sam Harris is not mentally ill, hewitt is, perhaps severely. Thanks for watching and the great thorough comments too!

  • Mr. Hewitt was out debated so soundly that I almost feel bad for him. He dodges questions like a politician who just raised taxes.

  • @TheMightyAC

Fantastic comment, and great analogy too. Thanks for having watched and for the great comment. Have a great remainder of the week as well!

  • "We don't jail people for being stupid."

I don't think that Hugh Hewitt realized fully who Sam Harris was referring to.

  • @TheMrDeist

That's quite true, but hewitt is mentally ill, and not terribly smart. Thanks for watching and commenting as well!

  • Sam Harris Rocks!

He politely waists Mr. Hewit and i feel rather sorry for him

  • @lostallmymirth

True, hewitt got dumped in the sewer and isn't bright enough to realize it. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • I love Sam's blank expression while he is listening to this guy

  • @ClintSevilla

It is fantastic. Why let psychotics change your disposition? Thanks for watching and commenting too! Have a great weekend as well!

  • Should a Christian go to war? I don't know the answer to that either but I do think that Western Christians easily confuse Christian values with patriotism and other national/regional values. That's not to say they're mutually exclusive but if one's Christianity has any depth and push comes to shove allegiance to Christ surely has got to triumph anything else.

Again, I'm not sure what the answer is but the knee jerk justification of aggressive action by many professed Christians alarms me.

  • @Druezer

You bring up good points. I agree with you. Yes, certain Christians are eager to go to war, but you have to realize there is no difference between a Christian and an Atheist. We are both fallen beings that let emotion judge and control at times. The real issue would be what does Jesus Christ say, in terms of Christiniaty and just war. Me personally? I would love to avoid war at all costs, but like you say things all depend.

  • @xchampx

There is a GIGANTIC difference between Atheists and christo-Psychotics. Atheists are sane people who don't believe in dancing unicorns and fairy tales of old men living in clouds and demanding a sacrifice of a first born son, as moronic mentally ill christo-Psychotics do. If you believe in christ-stain-anity, you cannot pick and choose the segments of it you like, it's ALL or NOTHING. The idea of personal gods is laughable, and those that believe in them are weak, stupid and ill.

  • I am a Christian. Good dialogue between both. Im reading these comments and they really puzzle me. Too bad the video cut-off. Sam does have a huge misconception. Also, he misquoted the matthew verse. It says UNTIL it has been fulfilled. hence, Old Covenant, New covenant.

  • @xchampx

LOL! You just proved the bible is fiction, thanks! If this Idiot "god" wrote or "dictated" the first "testament," why did he redact all of it for a second writing? LOL! The bible is so hideous nobody with any intelligence thought it was a the word of any "god." If you lived 4,000 years ago you'd have prayed to a fish head in a tree. And Sam Harris is 100% correct, on each and every detail. The remainder of this video can be viewed on our mccainisthrough1 channel.

  • @mccainisthrough

Its just ignorance on your part. I mean look at how you react. Look at your heart. Look at the hate you have in your heart. if only you knew..

  • @xchampx

LOL! You're nothing more than a sententious clown. We don't have hate, as you incorrectly allege out of your self-righteousness, a product of religion. Creatures who worship monkey-men on the sky and pretend they know things they do not, are called mentally ill. If you lived 10,000 years ago you'd have been praying to a pile of fish bones and wolf poop. You aren't bright, you're intolerant of reality and you're mentally ill. Atheists are sane, religious Kooks are not, period.

  • @xchampx, if only he knew what, xchampx? Can you actually back up any statement you make when it comes to the topic of religion? Or can you only preach and pull armchair psychobabble over the internet with someone you don't know?

  • Luck is everything. I can prove it.

  • How does Sam Harris remain so cool and composed around idiots like this Hugh Hewitt twit? I've seen Harris do this time and time again and it amazes me. I'd be stuttering, red in the face and foaming at the mouth within the first 2 minutes.

  • @comingatchu

It is impressive to see him sit there without flinching at the type and amount of idiotic things stated by idiot hewitt. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • Just war? !

  • @Druezer

religion is evil for a multitude of horrendous problems, it should be made illegal. Thanks for watching and commenting too. Have a nice weekend too!

  • @Druezer

If the Islamic countries invade us( the U.S). Is it just to defend?

  • @xchampx

It would seem pretty clear cut on the face of it, but things get murky really quickly. For example, if a few citizens of countries A and B band together to attack country C but these actions are not sanctioned or supported by the governments of A and B then that's another story. We have to be really careful about rushing into military action. There's so much collateral damage: lives, economy, environment. I think you have to be really clear about who your attacker or enemy is.

  • Hewitt is playing the religious bigotry card, you criticize religion, therefore, supposedly, you are inducing intolerance and hatred, invoking scary images of repression and such, thereby making criticism of religion taboo and beyond the pale. This makes religion free to make the most outrageous claims, and reach levels of absurdity that we would not tolerate in any other discourse.

  • @DandAinTac

That's true, he has no objective frame of reference. hugh's a nice guy, but a Moron. You're entirely right too. As Christopher Hitchens said "What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof." Carl Sagan said "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence." religion has nothing because it is nothing. It's just silly, childish man-made rubbish for the weak and the frightened, as well as the mentally ill. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • Does anyone really believe Hugh's argument? He's saying that the suicide bombers (and likewise, the so-called Christians who discriminate against gays and beat their own children) aren't faith-based in their actions? That is insane. Sam is correct that it is the secular, rational thinkers that have brought us (at least partially) out of the dark ages of the evil religious scriptures that call for slavery, stoning, oppression of women, child abuse and the murder of others not of your faith.

  • @drgregsgurl

hugh doesn't/couldn't even really buy his own silliness, it's so childish. He seems like a nice man, just dumb as a bag of chicken beaks. True too. The bible states that a Rape victim marry the Rapist forlife, after being sold to the Rapist by their own father. It's vile.

  • @mccainisthrough Yeah, that's one of my favorites from Deuteronomy. And I say "favorites" because it's one of the first passages in scripture that encouraged me to become anti-theist. So, in that way, I'm grateful to have read it. But nothing, imho, beats the story of Judges 11:31 in which Jephthah murders his own daughter as a burnt offering to the Lord. If the bible really is the most popular book in the USA, I don't know why there aren't more atheists.

  • @drgregsgurl

Indeed. And, like Isaac Asimov said so plainly:

"Properly read, the Bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived."

We couldn't agree more, or with more delight. Thanks and have yourself a nice weekend!

  • @mccainisthrough

I'm no religious freak yet you have to sode with me on this: If there is no higher power in charge and I don't mean the one these moron prosperity preachers of today preach, why do you cry when a loved one dies? Do you concieve a person as the end of molecules, of randomly put-together proteins, aminoacids that are at the end of their existence?

I really think about that when a loved one dies.

  • @chinchonchinchon

Then why do animals experience the same loss, they have no sense of religious dogma. When someone you grew close with dies, it's a loss. bush, a born again christian, had no concern at all for the 1.3 million Iraqi innocents he murdered with his illegal attack, 200,000 of them were children under 6, in fact, bush called it a "crusade." “I am a deeply religious nonbeliever.… This is a somewhat new kind of religion.” Albert Einstein, March 30, 1954

  • @mccainisthrough

Animals, some of them indeed can suffer the loss of a loved one as a dog of a relative of mine did: He went to his masters tomb and remained there without eating and died. There's in the Paris cemetery an interesting scupture of a dog who died at his master's tomb too.

Bush? Hitler also was never excomulgated from the catholic church, neither Himmler.

I understand your point of view but wheneve someone close to you dies you always have food for thought.

  • @chinchonchinchon

When someone we know dies, we feel for their living kin, and remember them in the best light and cherish the memories, we never wonder where their "spirit" has gone, since it never existed to begin with. Supernatural hopes are based on irrational fears. You live you die, very simple. To attribute silly values to the unknown is a waste of time and energy. religion creates these pathetic creatures that are so selfish they want more, an afterlife to a life, sad and childish.

  • @chinchonchinchon I agree with your premise that we experience something much deeper than a loss of molecules when someone dies (I lost my own mom to pancreatic cancer last year.) But please don't think that those of us who are non-theists or rationalists don't believe in the transcendent or the luminous (as Hitchens puts it). We believe in love, loss, sympathy, empathy and the feeling of closeness that all humans share (or should share). We just don't attribute that to a supernatural being.

  • i think the problem with with the lawyer is he basis too much power in human testimony which is the lowest kind of evidence in science but not law

  • @johnnyd101

He's not bright, and he's weak minded. religion brings stupid people in and teaches them to be mentally ill. religion is just pathetic, and quite childish. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • I wish Hugh Hewitt was asked to name one act of cruelty done because of rationalism. The holocaust was based in a faith of unfounded doctrine.

Hewitt may not authorize cruelty but his religion definitely does.

Irrational belief is dangerous and irrational belief should not be considered sacrosanct. It should be more vigorously questioned than grounded views.

  • @drfoxcourt

Exactly right. Christopher Hitchens said "What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof." religion needs to present evidential support for its myriad claims, or take a seat next to Big Foot, the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus, all known fairy tales. religion is very dangerous since it fosters self-righteousness on an unheard of level. We support the euthanization of religion. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • At the end there, Sam really showed exactly what is indisputable truth. Well done!

  • @lovethenthink

Sam puts things in realistic perspective. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • Wow, Ben Stiller looks diferent, but nice said. Totally agree with him.

  • @jorge9705

LOL! Yes, Sam Harris is tremendous. Thanks!

  • a very nice debate, both allowed each other to talk without interruption

  • @memento18poker

    True.

  • I hate when a good question is asked, and not answered.

I can't believe that in a debate someone is allowed to state that the question of their counterpart is not the correct one, and then follow up with a question of their own.

  • @TheMedievalNerd

There are no sensible responses to remarks about religion, since it is invented by man, there are only silly opinions. The truth comes out when Mr. Harris speaks, articulately and plainly. The only thing good about religion is that it controls masses of stupid people. Thanks for watching too.

  • Sam defended himself against every question and accusation perfectly.

  • @SolidSnake032486

Yes he did, it's so obvious he's correct, but mentally challenged and weak creatures can't understand that religion is man-mad drivel, they're missing something chemical that enables rational thought. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • I can't help but feel like Hewitt is simply disagreeing for disagreement's sake. There had to be at least a few arguments that Harris made which were so obvious and intuitively right that they had to have gotten through.

  • @stinky472

    Exactly right, and thanks!

  • Sam Harris arguments are so reasonable, logical and sane and still so gentle and kind that I dont understand how anyone could object or argue against that.

  • @boomtao

That's true, and it doesn't hurt to be right. He presents strong arguments coated in reason with substantial evidential proof, where religion can only point to a tattered clothe and some nails and say "that belonged to christ, and he died for your sins." For those that believe, there are medications. For those that don't believe in the fairy tales, there is Life.

  • @boomtao Actually at times they are quite forceful, I mean he wrote a part in defense of torture.

  • @slicingwater

Good point, but Harris doesn't actually support torture, hewitt does though.

  • This video was poorly edited. There are clearly some bits that have been cut out, which skew Sam's argument.

  • @erucolindo87

NOTHING has been cut out you idiot! Sam skews nothing, he lives in reality. religio-Psychotics are a threat to Our planet. hewitt is a moron, all religious twits are morons. If you believe in Santa Claus after age 3, or jesus, or any man-made fairy tales, you're mentally ill. religion is the most harmful thing on Earth, it must be euthanized, FAST! As Einstein said, religion is childish superstition. Sam Harris destroys religious kooks and their idiotic arguments.

  • Hughg Hewitt bothers me - damn I hate lawyers. He has studied rhetoric and logic, as a lawyer. He then turns around and commits the same logical fallacies he accuses Harris of. Also, there is a style of winning a debate where you simply out-talk your opponent, without making any real point. I think Hewitt could talk for 20 minutes without really saying anything.

  • @TaylorThaHick Precisely the same feeling I got. I can't help but the lawyer was speaking and not a genuine person. Even the most absurd creationists generally concede to a few points here and there.

  • @stinky472

    Right you are, again.

  • @TaylorThaHick

LOL! Great points. hewitt is a Moron. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • Hugh Hewitt = just another religious fanatic misunderstanding atheism.

  • @dblacky1977

Good call. Thanks for watching too!

  • does the debate end abruptly, or is there more? just as sam harris was beautifully executing the (insert italics here) coup de grace, camera cuts to commercial?

  • @thecuk

Yes, there is more. Go here to view the entire debate: mccainisthrough1

We posted both segments there. Thanks too!

  • Sam Harris is marvelously in control, especially at the end. I love this man, he's almost eerily calm and in command of the conversation while Hugh and Lee smile smugly thinking they've won something.

  • @PianoCat5

Yes, Harris is well composed, it doesn't hurt to have reality and fact on your side either. Thanks for watching and commenting also!

  • This is actually a great debate.

  • @Captain67

Yes,it is. It's great to watch Sam bring reality in to combat childish superstition. hewitt was buried by his own ignorance and stupidity. religious dogma is sad. Thanks for having watched too!

  • Hewitt completely addressed a straw man in his first response. Harris clearly stated that the problem is the false wall of taboo in criticising religion, yet Hewitt goes and says it's evil that is an issue. He totally misses the point that without the allowance of criticism of religion, that kind of evil persist and worsen

  • @tommyk77

Excellent point, correct too. religion is hogwash. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • note the name of the debate: "Faith under fire". They could have chosen a less bias title

  • @memento18poker

Great point, thanks for watching too!

  • @mccainisthrough thanks friend!

  • @memento18poker

    Thank you!

  • fuck religion.

  • @mrx0066600

    Yes!!! Thanks!

  • "And so I believe to-day that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator. In standing guard against the Jew I am defending the handiwork of the Lord."

    (Adolf Hitler - Mein Kampf - 1924)

  • @ab0kanal

Awesome quote, thanks! The Nazi belt buckles said "gott mit uns," god with us. What Atheist would put that on? Thanks for watching too!

  • Still arguing Hitler was an atheist, but Hitler told himself that he didn't believe in evolution but creationism and that he destroyed atheism... He's lost any credibility when he resorts to blatant lies to defend your positiion... BTW, the rest is till long debunked empty rethoric and disgusting martyrdom...

  • @Acrimonator

True, Hitler was a devout roman catholic and the Nazi belt buckles said "gott mit uns," which means god with us, a religious sentiment. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • this host gives the other guy WAY more time, further he interupts same in the middle of his points constantly while letting the other guy finish. Dont get me wrong sam still made excellent points, while the lawyer (ironic?) made tired and hollow ones that have been refuted for what feels like forever. Trying to make atheism the motive for the abuses of dictatorships? c'mon no ones buying that garbage anymore. Then he just makes a bunch of unsupported claims.

  • @boorens18

That's a very thorough and accurate breakdown of the reality of the debate. We see it the same way. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • Enjoyed this debate.... good speakers on both sides. For once a Christian who has actually thought about his faith, which is frustratingly rare.

  • @markgg1

    Thanks! True too.

  • Hugh has a problem using the term 'people', it's always "Man" this and "Man" that.

Intellectually, he hasn't made it out of the 50s. Go figure, he's a raging Christian.

Everything he says isn't even worth going into, it's just trite, drivel, trash.

Hugh was introduced to religion as a child, no doubt, listened to his parents, fostered a love for his imaginary friend, preached it to thousands of others, and never had a moment of critical criticism. Harris did the opposite. That's life.

  • @niginit

Excellent comment. hewitt doesn't, and never has, lived in then realm of reality. He's a sheep, where Sam Harris is a Man, a person, in and of his own independent thinking. hewitt is a religio-Psychotic, and incapable of realizing truth or science. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • Sam owned....

  • @anApparition

Harris tends to mop the floor with people who aren't able to think clearly. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • google, Doe's Account. its insane.

  • @firefloat22

It's all babble from mentally ill religio-Psychotics. Scary that people are that sick and stupid! Thanks for watching and the comment and info

  • "Jefferson had it right!" - Jefferson was a Deist, not a true Christian. This guy Hugh Hewitt comes across as a lightweight.... I will give the moderator props for being reasonable, considering his religious bias.

  • @LaWrytr

A fair assessment of the clip. Sam Harris is outstanding . Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • "hitlerism" lool

  • @WarmBread123

Yes, very amusing. Thanks for watching and commenting too1

  • Sam's a hottie.

  • @TripleM87

LOL! He is great! Thanks for watching and commenting too. Have a great weekend as well!

  • @bersa888

We agree completely! Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a nice weekend also!

  • Religion = 0

    Reason & Logic = 956,986,857,900,003,093,001 + 1

  • Hugh is such an idiot... He truly believes that the bible is 100% and the world is as described in it.. lol!

  • @gskowal

True, hewitt is as bright as cat feces, no offense to cat feces. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • SAM HARRIS is da man.

Even when dealing with the backward Hughey...I believe he read Sams book, but didn't comprehend at all.

  • @artwdog

That's exactly right. hewitt is a dope and Harris lives in reality. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • sam harris gives atheists a good name. he's very calm and backs everything he says up. also he doesn't get offended when this dick says his book lacks historical accuracy

  • @johncrazy8s

True, Harris is very bright, so there's no way he'll ever give in to the silliness of religion, which is nothing more than childish superstition. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • A Theologian - what the hell job description is it ?

  • theologian = supernatural fanfic author

  • @jakkbomb

    theologian = Vagrant

    Thanks!

  • @mironowak

LOL! Same as Vagrant. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • This is such an important conversation for us to have. Thank you for posting it. I'm assuming PAX TV to be a Christian channel and encouraged to know such thoughtful discourse is being held within that community. I've certainly not heard of such talk on FOX or CNN.

  • Thanks. And thanks for watching and commenting.

  • Sam Harris is awesome!

  • Yes, he is. Thanks for watching and commenting too!

  • Bloody awesome. Sam Harris held his ground against two clearly opposing people, constantly called out when they took his words out of context and basically wiped the floor with them. 5 stars! Have you watched his talk on TED discussing science as a decent approach to morality? Highly recommend that also.

  • Thanks! Yes, Harris is superb and unshakable, it comes with being 100% correct. We have his TED lecture posted somewhere on here too. We had to disable ratings after an attack by the christian votebots, apparently they're uncomfortable allowing their "god" to dictate the rating, which was 5 stars until their pitiful attack. Thanks again, and Cheers!

  • @mccainisthrough He is indeed 100% right. People like Harris and Dawkins need to do more to rid us of this insanity that is religious faith.

And those lying cheating christian votebots. I wish i could tell them to burn in hell.

Oh well, keep posting my friend.

  • Thanks Again!

  • @gits4eva Harris and Dawkins are doing enough. If you agree with them, then it is you that needs to do more. The zeitgeist has to change

  • @tommyk77

    Interesting thought.

  • I love Sam Harris <3

  • Yes, Sam Harris is a strikingly bright and articulate person. We agree with you. Thanks for watching and commenting too! Have a nice weekend!

  • Lee Strobel is ignorant of everything.

  • @TheAndrewMan1000

True, lee's pure dope, never even noticing reality for two seconds, thanks for watching also.

  • The basis of this "faith" and "belief" - some man-made misconception called God and his word? Huh, how can a billion people believe in such balderdash?

Religion (all of them) has done more damage than good to human kind.

As Steven Weinberg says 'Good people will do good things, and bad people will do bad things. But for good people to do bad things -- that takes religion.".

It's dragging us into the abyss of all-round violence, misery and ignorance...
