  • Ill take it right now at the middle price...;-) I have a Buyer possibly if its really clean and non rusty CW... I need pre 88 stuff. Also If you ever need values on something your done & serious on let me know ill run them on my dealershp software & get you EVERYTHING on it. NADA is just as high as the other is low add them together divide by 2 add the first 2 numbers from you license plate and last 4 numbers from your vin and finally minus $43 and thats you Book Value... amazing folks use this

  • If dealer retail was 1600 i'd buy 10...

  • Hey Cw, why do you think they deduct value for diesel on these, while it adds around 4000-5000$ for the 2001+

  • @Veikra These values are totally out to lunch, and prolly very old, when they were new, and the disaster 5.7 was fresh in folks mind

  • @CORVAIRWILD or gas wasnt expensive enough to go through the higher maintenance of a diesel for a few buck a year in fuel saving. now a 04 is 4000$ more for the diesell and thats with diesel being more expensive than gasoline!. But Im talking of a state where it's more expensive to license a motorbike than a peterbuilt for personal use....

  • I think those sites underrate the older cars and big trucks to get them off the road, shipped to China and made into four cheap new cars. There is no substitute to driving a full framed truck on the open highway. Hope things work out with the settlement.

  • @yourbeekeeper Just settled, woulda been a good vid, shame...

  • @yourbeekeeper After walking away from an accident a month ago today I can't see myself ever driving something non truck-based.

  • @yourbeekeeper yep, china don't want monopoly money anymore. They want their dept payed in metal and construction material.

The worst is the revised fuel mileage. They try to make old car look thirsty by lowering the mpg. My full size pickup is less thirsty than a brand new madza 5 minivan...

  • That is crazy talk Mr. CW.

  • Wow, my 84 lincoln towny I bought for 500$, high retail is 7,000.

  • yeah those values are way off corvairwild....you could go to an appraiser and get an accurate value and they usually charge I think $40,00 -$150 to get an accurate value but as I do I just guess value..like I paid $2500 for my truck and got $ 4,000 into it total so the value would be around $3,000 basicly I am getting at you got to estimate the value from what you got into the truck and what you would want to sell it for..it's complicated lol

  • Yeah NADA is a bit high, they put my truck from 2650 up to 7k. If someone wants to offer 5k its all theirs haha

  • my 98 grand cherokee 5.2 with 170k NADA value is $1,400, $2,075 ,$2,625 ,$4,600* . i payed 4k 4 years ago.

  • @calmini4x4

Jeep GC on KBB is cheep, thats why i bought one. but i paid over blub book and it still needs repairs:( i have a 99 though

  • @mifan93 Just paid 7K for a fully loaded 2001 Durango, about to see what I should have paid...

  • JUNK!!

  • JUNK!!

  • I have a 1991 camry and the insurance company says it is worth 1500 bucks online 3 different sites from 450 to 3780.00 How can it be such a big difference . Who does the insurance companies get the value from?

  • @ncrdisabled They play Pin Da Tail On Us Donkeys

  • NADA values are crazy high. Try 77 chevy k10 short bed step side auto 350v8. says average retail is 9 GRAND!!!!!!!!! What are they smoking! Average retail for a clean truck around us is $3500. Pissed me off because when i regustered the truck I got charged sales tax on NADA average retail value for a truck i paid $125.00 for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'll keep mine thank you very much. 88, 6.2.

  • Here, you'd be able to run antique plates on that Suburban!

  • hey, we like our rust in WI!

  • @KenworthPeterbilt

I think we invented rrrrrust here in Wisconsin, LOL.

  • who's your ins. co. ALLSTATE?

  • What's wrong with the Subarban?

    Good luck!

  • Sad to say old vehicles don't hold their value no mater how good of shape they are in unless they fit the collectors description. The insurance supplier here in BC is gov't you can't insure a truck for any value but you are paying a higher premium. If you get in an accident and they have the vehicle appraised you probably won't get the insured value thou. If you had a brandnew Chevy Crew cab duramax you wouldn't be worried about figuring out value.

  • KBB is junk. Nada is what my town taxes on as do most places. Get the sub appraised your insurance should work off that. Nada goes back far enough. My town says my 1990 f250 is worth 1400. I think its worth less but taxes are only 20 dollars. Sweet!

  • You need classic. collector insurance for that thing. Look into it, You never know, they might give you an agreed value.

  • @ghtowagon Good point, a little late now

  • my dad has a 2000 GMC sierra half ton.. 250,000 kms but it looks like it just rolled out of the assembly plant. It was valued at $2,000

  • According to edmunds, I would have to pay someone $322 to take my 92 isuzu 4x4 in on trade, pretty rediculous.

  • i furgue its worth about 50 cents a pound..lol... i had to get a appraisal for my jeep to get insurance.. since it was in great shape, but insurance only valued at $300

  • There's lots of overpriced junk out there for sale. Especially from owners.

  • @D4x4Bronc they think it`s Gold,to us its old.

  • i was looking at that blue Suburban myself

  • NADA told me my 89 shortbed with crank windows, no AC, 350 auto 157k was worth $3k.

I'd be lucky to get $800 for it.

  • Sorry for mass comments again i forgot enter doesn't actually go to next line >.>
