My history professor, a Phd and a man who has spent most of his life studying U.S. history, had never heard of Butler or the business coup. I've been in the Army 10 years and I'd never heard of Butler who won 2 medals of honor. I happened to see War is A Racket on a Barnes and Noble bookshelf and bought it.

Well, I know I sound crazy if I tell you I am a type of empath. In November 2000 I was losing my hair in droves -- I knew something terrible, very terrible was in the near future...
I flew out to San Francisco by myself, hung out in Muir Woods. Drove the Silverado trail, stayed in Napa Valley for a week in a quiet bed-and-breakfast. I was completely losing it.
Deep in my bones, I know the end of Elite Rule is at hand. There will be a revolution, but not violent so much as an awakening.

There is so much more in true history, shows how they do what they due. They're fake & mimic others, forever, they've debased good for sake of evil, destructive nature, w/o spirit. BTW, #1 on TrueWorldHistory is a CRITICAL piece to defining & understanding the term capitalism (FAR from malevolent). #3 on MillionDollarCinema is the same piece; they overlap. The film is called 'Overview of America' and the comparison and definition of various terms is what is important. The piece is only 29 minutes and with last you a lifetime.

Butler was no economist and so you need to take what he said about capitalism with a grain of salt. He understood that our problems stem from the global banker elite but he did not define his terms regarding capitalism.

I would have to do some research, as it has been years since I got into it, but yes-- after the failed takeover here in the States, hundreds of them went to Germany to spread propaganda, there. This is where Prescott Bush got involved with the Walker Family and made the Bush fortune laundering money thru the Union Bank, eventually shut-down by the U.S. in 1951.

The Military lost sight of the just role of defense not long after the Revolution to declare sovereignty.

FYI _Clockwork Orange_ is set in a peace time environment and chronicles the history of a gang of thugs being recruited into the service of Police Enforcement. Nothing whatsoever to do with the conditions of war. Though the thugs activities do bring to mind the tactics of MPs @ Abu Ghraib and other dark site detention facilities run by US military and intel operatives.

If it's so "easy to see" then why are you having so much trouble seeing it?
I point out some facts, readily available in the public domain, and you go ranting about US military good, bad guys bad.
I will grant that the short movie summary I gave does ignore the majority of the feature which focuses more on prediction of the methods used by a powerful State to ensure Social Order.
btw I am a proud former US Marine. It's the motives behind the organization's actions I question, not the soldiers.
