With Link being near pirates here, it reminds me of Wind Waker. Too bad all you have to work with in that game is this dinky little sailboat that takes forever to go where you want. I wish you could use a big ship in WW...

Considering the time it takes to (semi-realistically) sail, rowing would be even worse. Most of Weyard hasn't even heard of boat sails, so it's really nice that Felix gets to borrow Pier's sweet ride...uh, I mean, boat. That thing would have to be beaten up by the end of TLA.

The gameplay for thos games are completely different, I don't think Mario inspired LoZ. It was probably more on the fact that Nintendo needed new ideas. But I do agree that GS is slightly inspired by LoZ because of the puzzles. Another game inspired by LoZ would be Seiken Densetsu. :D I could name alot of game inspired off of games, but I'm not.

He only has the basic sprites that nearly all NPC's do, he's not meant to be played as at all. I used a code to replace Felix's sprites with his, which were hidden among the rest of the sprites in the game's data.

I can also insert new sprites into the game now, so theoretically I could take Mario & Bowser's sprites from Mario Golf Advanced Tour and stick those in the game.

Actually is you are using action replay or gameshark, or anything of the sort, you are not using a "cheat code" but are reprogramming the game, which could be a bad things because some reprogramings will mess up the file even when remove the action replay, forcing you to restart your game.

No, it's not reprogramming the game. Cheating devices can only alter values stored in memory while the game is running, not the data on the cartridge itself. It's true that if you alter values that are saved when you save your progress in the game you could screw up your save file, but I already know what I edit to replace the players sprites isn't.

I didn't put him into the game, he's already there hidden among the rest of the games data. I just used cheat codes to play as him. I first figured them out on the computer, but I converted them to Action Replay codes so I can play as him on my GBA too.
