lovely! beautiful voice, can i ask have you had singing lessons before? or do you do any voice training techniques. your voice is so smooth, i am learning to play guitar and often when i sing along it sounds quite wobbly or i don't always get the notes right, i'm sure it comes naturally to lots of people, but i am just looking for some tips to improve my singing.

@TallulahBunny Hi, I have had 4 singing lesson in my entire life, everything I have learned about singing is learnt just from me listening to different artists and finding techniques on the internet.

@TallulahBunny I think you have the little wobbly bit in your voice when you sing due to not breathing correctly and having a really active vibrato both things can be toned down to help you have more confidence in your singing. If you like I can do a word document up for you with some tips, I could do a video if you prefer that, either way I would love to help mentor you if you like.

I know exactly what I'm talking about, and I never, how did you say it? "ditched good talent" I actualy complinted notes on her voic, but I pointed out that in parts she was out of tune and made an observation that they needed to relax their voice in some parts. Perhaps you should read peoples comments more thoroughly before you chastise them for it. I'd love to see your version though, if you wouldnt mind posting it, and yes, I'm being sincere, take care.

Your quite out of tune in alot of parts, you have a nice voice, but its a bit "sing-song" for want a better term. This song needs to flow, you place too much emphaises on some parts, you dont need to extend your voice in every line. I'm just being honest, please dont take offense to this, try to learn from it. Keep at it.

Also, it *is* an Irish folk song, though not a traditional one. Tommy Sands wrote it in memory of his friends Allan Bell (Protestant) and Sean O'Malley (Catholic). Dillon skipped some of the original verses (every other verse, I think) and changed the names of the persons involved. I don't know whether the names she used are the names of any real persons.

No, seriously, I *love* digging up the background of songs. So I tend to pick up a lot of odd knowledge. A lot of me random knowledge of Ireland comes from investigating backgrounds, phrases, and words from the songs I've been singing the last... 5 or 6 years.

And yes, it is the same message. Are the names different from both Sands' and Dillon's version though?
