sound would argue that food addiction doesn't exist due to how you define addiction ---meaning withdraw symptoms, etc....
You can be addicted to certain chemicals like caffeine (like in your drink), sugar, etc. Because they actually cause reactions in your brain... but saying "I'm addicted to FOOD..." that's a bit different and could be argued to be a cop out.
I know my comment will upset people... but, eh, I used to believe I was addicted to food, then I realized, hey, it's not that simple

I'm well aware of the research that links brain chemistry to bulimia and compulsive overeating. Hello, I've read articles on it!
However, my problem is in the semantics... calling it a FOOD ADDICTION is the issue, not the brain chemistry. To say that one is addicted to food, ALL FOOD, is absolutely absurd! I'm sorry, there are NO CASES or studies that proves there are such a thing as FOOD addiction.
i think that depends on how you define/what you consider an addiction. and as someone who works in the addiction field, i can only say what i see, and food addiction is very real.
NICCCOOOLLLLLEEEE thank you SOOO very much for the SHOUT OUT AND SUPPORT!!! YES, the SFC title needs to find its way to THE HOME AND NATIVE LAND => R77, xxoo
Great video! I am so excited to see the other vids this week too! I def have an addictive personality. I am addicted to so many things! And just because they're not illegal doesn't mean they're less harmful.
We must be the same person! I am so addicted to Starbuck's Frappuccinos (usually Caramel) and Mexican food! OMG, chips & salsa and chimichangas!
I think my main addictions (yes, plural) is food, Internet shopping, and CDs.
My addiction is chocolate - Cadbury, Dove and Sees...Since I moved to New York, the only way I can get Sees is mail order! Never tried the Java Chip Starbucks.....yet.....
People (and I included) want immediate gratification and be able to give themselves pleasure. It's just like the hamster or rat that knows how to trip his pleasure center and runs the maze to get the cheese or sugar water on the other side. We want to trip those things with the least work possible. Sure we could do it with exercise, talks with friends, or getting our work done to reduce stress, but that isn't as guaranteed.
My latest was Diet Coke with Splenda, but the original one was pizza.
LOVE IT NICOLE! what do you mean? vvvvVVVvvvvVVVVvvv LMAO LMAO LMAO ... Gawd I love you! you did a great video this time.. I think it earned more then 2 stars!

I have a highly addictive personality and I honestly have tried my best to lose my food addiction by replacing it with working out.
I have found that it works if you enjoy it.

I worked at Starbucks for a year and drinks like that were what killed me.
The Chocolate chips in them alone are amazing. They are actually coated with a vanilla powder coating which makes them even more amazing.
You're best bet is to order this:
Venti Unsweetened No Water Light Ice Green Iced Tea.
You are still getting your caffeine and Starbucks, just not the repercussions of an extremely unhealthy drink.
