  • Ok I commented before, very gently toast off all spices before using them, don't put them in raw thats just no good. Also when using asian spices do not use olive oil, it just doesn't go, use rapeseed oil or hemp oil ( they are better healthwise anyway)

  • Quinoa is originally from my country, Peru, and, like potatoes, is a gift from the Inca civilization.

  • when you take in the meat or flesh of another animal you take in the death, and the emotional trauma that the animal suffered into yourself. There is no value in eating meat as we are not meant to eat it, most eat it for taste.meat is a poor source of protein, I would suggest Hemp,Goji, bee pollen among the best sources. Consuming meat is consuming death, destruction, greed, fear, terror, and hate. Eat to live, eat living raw organic fruits and vegetables, and your skin and live will glow!

  • Meat is not a poor source of protein its actually much better than hemp, rice, or soy proteins.

That being said, most commercial meat is treated with growth hormones and are raised in a way that may harm your body in the long run, so vegetarianism is a good option.

  • @cerealkilla4eva

    that is actually not true.

the information that we're given on the protein in meat is based on RAW CUTS (check out the fine print at the bottom of a beef commercial). Do you know anyone who eats raw cuts of meat?

  • quinoa, ate it for the first time short while ago

    not bad :)

  • wow that looks delicious! =]

  • Its pronounced keen wah! also its not a grain. You are so hot I will overlook it this time lol

  • Thanks for this recipe Zuzana. I made it tonight and it is yummy!!!! The best part is I have dinner or lunches all ready for the next few days :) Thanks for your great videos and recipes! Keep them coming :) You rock!!!

  • Another is fresh strawberries with balsamic vinegar. Wash and drain strawberries. Cut off the green stems. Use REAL balsamic vinegar from Modena. It's naturally sweet instead of acidic. Serve with a dollup of whipped cream. Brown sugar can be used in this recipe but why? The balsamic vinegar is sweet enough. If you whip your cream by hand try using the brown sugar to sweeten the cream and a couple of drops of pure vanillia extract. The cream will take a light ivory color that is interesting.

  • very awesome. i will try this. i lost all my weight by turning my liability of overeating into an asset. this sounds delicious, and something i can eat until i'm in pain, but my hips would be none the wiser. thanks!

  • That sounds great! I posted another reply, but it's missing!

  • mmmm that sounds sooo gooooood. thanks!

  • For a healthy(er) dessert that you will also find in great restaurants, try a poached pear in simple syrup and a little melted dark chocolate. Make sure you use a red pear or a firm pear. After poaching use the syrup to as a sauce by reducing the liquid. Serve pear chilled with drizzled dark chocolate. Check out food network for details. I'm a chef, by the way.

  • 1 cup quinoa, 1.5 to 2 cups water. Mix together in large saucepan. Bring to boil. When boiling, reduce to simmer and cover. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes until all water is absorbed.

  • umm that babe looks tasty..COUGH mm i mean the food looks tasty.

  • She sounds polish.

  • mmmm that looks delicious.... of course i mean the salad

  • Rinse and strain it. Then pour it in a pot of water until it boils , then lower it and let it sit for 10 min. Put it in the fridge. It becomes soft and translucent and to be honest I'm addicted to it. You can do so much with it and it goes well with seafood. It's the healthiest food for vegans too.

  • Quinoa is actually a seed, you'd do well to try sprouting it and eating it uncooked.

  • Eating it uncooked? It would be like eating raw rice.

  • you missed her saying you had to cook the quinoa first. it is rather hard until its cooked :)

  • grains cans be soaked.

  • i eat fully raw and i agree with you 100%...best way to get the full protein

  • question: how do you cook the quinoa? how do you cook it ..?:D thanks

  • That looks so delicious. Also, you can put a little more on your plate because with the muscle you have it keeps your metabolism high.

  • i think she knows what she's doing

  • yes I would try...I mean... I would try the salad

  • "keen-wah" and its made just like rice

  • Cool, but how do you cook the Quinoa?

PS. That bum looks almost as good in jeans as it does in gym clothes

  • It's very simple, you just boil it in hot water with some salt and oil. All by preferance =)

  • 1 cup quinoa, 1.5 to 2 cups water. Mix together in large saucepan. Bring to boil. When boiling, reduce to simmer and cover. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes until all water is absorbed.

She looks the part of someone who eats healthy and lives healthy :)

  • Thank you zuzanna. These are very helpful!!

  • thanks for this video

  • im in love with Zuzana

  • without chicken..could this be a vegan recipe?

"quinoa, grilled chicken breasts, celery, crunchy apples, grapes, onion, curry, turmeric, brown sugar, olive oil, salt and lime juice. "

  • I want good stores to go to like that =)

i'd love to get to a healthy size like you :) keep up with the vids!

  • Wow. I've been looking for a new quinoa recipe to try (I'm getting tired of the recipes I currently use for quinoa) and this sounds delicious! Thank you very much for sharing, I will have to try this tonight. :)

  • i just love your voice and how you almost busted up laughing there. any ways tried it and LOVED IT had a hard time finding quinoa had to go to world market for it,

  • this is a very interesting recipe..i wanna try it!!!

  • Can you do a nice vegan/vegetarian series!

  • Yes indeed, good stuff! ZuZana has so much great tips to pass on. Now, if only I could find this really healthy food I'd buy and retrain myself to eat 5 to 6 times a day and in smaller portions.

    5 stars always, Zuzana! (^_^)

  • That looks pretty good and I'm always into trying a new salad. Can you find all the ingredients at a regular food store or should you go to an organic place? And can you add lettuce if you want (like organic)?

  • I wanted to lose some of my belly fat and I've been doing the 5 small meal a day thing and doing your exercises. I love them and I've already lost weight. Thanks!

  • Hello, I would like the receipe to this salad, it looks very good!

  • Yeah she does but I also wish her workout clothes were a bit more shiny, to better accentuate her gorgeous, perfect curves!

  • yummy!!! im going to try this recipe!! Please please make more recipe videos!!

  • very cool accent, where you from?

  • Some people are saying that they don't have the time to care for their health. My questions is: How much time do you spend watching TV? Could you use some of it to do something more productive like look after your health?

In the long run NOT taking care of yourself takes more time, but you spend the time sick, with low energy, and maybe even DEAD!

  • How do you cook the Quinoa please?

  • Awesome to see some dieting advice from this user now. The work outs really won't work if you don't watch your diet as well.

  • You forgot to mention cost. Not that it's important. And I see your not vegan.

  • The macronutrients of quinoa is amazing. How much does it roughly cost for 1lb of this stuff? Hope it isn't too expensive.

  • Well if you would have paid attention to the video, not just the host. You would have seen $4.51 a LB------at 0:30

  • 15-20 minutes!? @_@

I could eat that in 2 spoon fulls...

  • it says it cost $4.51 a pound in the video

  • hhmmm looks good. i think I am going to the market in the morning.. :)

  • your meal tips are so great! they are my favorite videos. thank you!

  • I def wanna try this - thank you!

luv the easiness about it and none of those ingrediants are hard to find! :D

  • Me Ditto,

I've never heard of quinoa before, so it will be interesting to see if I can find it.

    Big thumbs up Zuzana

  • I can wach her all day long, and never get bored....

  • lol I feel healthier just watching this video! can't wait to try it.

  • i have a question.

do you take any supplements? or are you strictly a quinoa kinda girl?

    good video.

  • You're looking good baby.

  • Good Vid! Finally someone shows how much is a healthy portion of food to maintain a lean figure.

  • Alright i am not going to comment on the jeans , but thats a nice recipe, thank you so much for sharing.

  • I love your accent. By the way, quinoa is pronounced: Kinwa (or "keenoa" really fast). ;)

    Keep 'am coming.

  • Thanks for the recipe! It looks good! The only ingrediant I'm missing is the tumeric. And also thanks for showing the portion size, that's really helpful too.

Quinoa can also be found at places like Bulk Barn, Big Carrot (Chester/Danforth, in Toronto), as well as another bulk foods place at Pape/Danforth...I forgot the name though, but it's right on the North-West side.

  • you are SO gorgeous

  • i love your biceps ang tricep muscles..

  • i like that you are adding in the "diet" videos. great job and thanks!

  • Zuzana I love you! Your accent is adorable.

  • That looks very healthy!!! By the way, what kind of beberages do you drink to eat with your meals?

  • i would say water

  • awesome vid

  • she is HooooOOOOOOOOOT !

*said in a King Diamond style*

  • thanks !good diet good exercise good life!

  • i love you

  • Hungarian or German?

  • this is ludacris. how do u think people who actually have a day job can afford to eat 6 times a day spending 15-20 mins on each meal? not to mention getting all those indigrends and making it

  • You must not cook much. I have just about all of those ingredients around every day. I certainly don't eat 6 times a day though. However, you can take advantage of the time of day. For example, I eat the most at lunch because that's when my metabolism is at it's peak. Taking your time to eat is good for you. Less work for the stomach, and better nutrient absorption. Shoving a burger down you throat in 5 minutes and going back to work is pretty much the equivalent of not eating anything.

  • Exactly my point! I'd love to do all this stuff, but I do not have time for it! Zuzana, what would you recommend for working people???

  • that salad made well over 6 portions. eat at breakfast, first coffee break, lunch, 2nd coffee break, and supper. that is 5 meals right there using the time everyone has already.

  • is easy...You just have to prepare your meals at night before you go to bed and have everything ready for the next day. Wake up 30 minutes earlier and eat your breakfast, then you take your 15 minutes mid-morning break and eat your snack. Take your hour or half an hour for lunch. then 15 min brea mid afteroon and eat your snack, that's four meals right there, then when you get home, eat your dinner...Hope it helps...

  • plan ahead; looking great and feeling good takes a level commitment which not too many people possess... it's possible, you just need to make the appropriate sacrifices.

  • preperation my friend. i have 6 meals a day and my foods are as or if not more complex than this meal. the key is preperation. your word of the day is "preperation". live it learn it love it. peace

  • So many excotic plants in your garden, is this in Asia somewhere?

  • canada

  • got to try
