I'm quite sure about 90% of this is scripted, as I doubt some of the people would give high fives to a random dancing robot. However, parts like the dancing scene around 1:30 look unscripted, simply because of the crowds difference in reaction. Still, you should wait on Maldroid's word, if they decide to respond.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Especially considering some of those same people were in the scenes where everyone was following the robot :D. "Sure I'll drop what I'm doing to be an extra in your video!" :D

Although, it looked like one guy denied him :D.

most of the black and white scenes were 'scripted' though i use that loosely. we just positioned ourselves along the street 20 min before the shoot. haha. those shots are all the band. The chorus is all unscripted dancing in the street, as is all of the robots moves.

Btw, at about 1:04 it looks like he's firing the rainbow...from a strange place..lol, for some reason I didn't make the connection between the rainbow and the colorization.
