  • I have a 021 that after rebuilding the carb, seems to be still starving for fuel. Could this be a crack in the impulse line or intake boot?

    thanks for your help.

  • @aztecuvolmts2 definitely could be

  • Odd that the related clips on the right fills upp with girls in bikinis more than chainsaw videos. I guess it says something about the audience.

Other than that, really nice videos, and at least for a scandinavian your canadian accent sound so much nicer than the average americans.

  • @anderscandell thank you

  • I wish the cars would be as simply to repear as this.

  • Hi,what should i do if the flyweel got stuck,i mean does not turn to any side,i can remove it esily but its really hard to turn around. Thanks

  • @naylan71985 maybe something is wrong in the engine itself??

  • Hi I rebuilt the carb on mine. I dont remember which mixture screw goes where. 1 is pointy tip and the other is blunt tip. Also if the return line micro hole in it will that keep it from reving high? As soon as I give it gas it bogs bad and I cant seem to adjust it out. Thanks for the great vids!

  • If I accelerate, the engine stops. I think I am not adjusting well the carburetor. What can I do?

  • good teaching

  • @xchrismccoy thanks

  • Love your videos, keep up the good work and stay safe!! By the way I went with the MS290, just wish it weighed less than 13 lbs!! Is it basically the same way to rebuild as the ms 250?

  • @mightywareagle2010 might be more similar to the husky 55 i rebuilt

  • What do recommend, a husqvarna, stihl, dolmar, echo, or makita?

  • @mightywareagle2010 i would go with husqvarna or stihl

  • @donyboy73 Just a tip when you are tightening the nut on the flywheel, You can use a piece of rope or there's a tool to sort of bind up the piston to make it easier to tighten or loosen the nut on the flywheel instead of having the crankshaft spinning. Just a tip

  • @MrFerrariman1 thanks, that's what i usually do

  • What is the purpose of the impulse line?

  • @ML424wr the impulse line carries impulses of air from the crankcase to power up the carburetor

  • Absolutey awesome video, teaching well, thank you

  • hi i have a Stihl MS250 IT DOES NOT SWITCH OFF THE SWITCH DOES NOT SEEM TO BE OPERATING CORRECTLY ANY ADVICE ABOUT THE ASSEMBLY WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED REGARDS STEVE

  • I have a Skilksaw 1631 type 3 chainsaw and it has no muffler. Do you know of any mufflers that may fit? I have no motivation to clean the carb if, when I use it, stufff is going to get in the engine. Or at least some kind of pipe I can use? I cannot make a pipe because I do not have any metal working tools.

  • @gokartspeeder sorry i do not have anything

  • Man you instruct well. I have a question. I'm repairing a ms250 for a friend of mine. Initially it didn't start at all. I tore down the carb, cleaned it replaced the metering diaphram and spark plug. It finally started ,but now the chain won't stop with the brake on. I tried adjusting the idle mixture, but when the chain starts to stop, the engine shuts down. So in order to keep it running, I have to adjust it where the chain is moving. Can you help?

  • @foreverwood1963 your clutch springs probably need replacing, i had a Husqvarna that did the same thing

  • what gap do you set that spark plug at?

  • @foreverwood1963 around 025 to 030
